Novotel Auckland Ellerslie

Enjoyed a good stay at this hotel. The service and rooms were good. The breakfast was a excellent and the spread was value for money.nThe concept of not having water bottles in the room took a little getting used to. A tiny jug is available for refill near the reception. Maybe worth mentioning to guests as they check-in as not all are aware of this concept. After checking with reception, they were quick and courteous to send 2 bottles over. Truly appreciated!nnWhat they could improve -nThe bed linens had some dried stains which wasn't a great first impression. Even during housekeeping, these weren't changed.nI was also disappointed that it was paid parking for guests. Inspite of paying, the parking was very hard to find in the evenings with no priority for guests.

We recently participated in a birthday function at Novotel Auckland Ellerslie, and the arrangements were extremely well organized. The staff were very supportive throughout the event.nnSpecial thanks to Ms. Kanthi and Lahiru from the kitchen team for the delicious dinner. They prepared a wonderful Sri Lankan-style buffet that perfectly matched our taste.nnWe truly enjoyed our time with friends and family. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay! Staff were amazing. Buffet was delicious. BUT on site restaurant for dinner was super expensive for what you got, and they stuffed up my kids meal both nights. Also you need to get QR code for tv and stream from your phone. No smart TVs.

Good sized room for a family of three. Twin queen beds and a view from the 5th floor. Dinner in the hotel restaurant had plenty of options for adults and kids. Good sized servings. Buffet stylenbreakfast had plenty of options from hot and cold, healthy and not so healthy options. Great service from the hotel team without overdoing it.

Had a fabulous welcome by Leoni at the front desk, easy check in and the room was very nice. Maybe a little dated but very comfortable.nGreat place to work from too.nnReceived a lovely welcome treat +++++nnThe buffet dinner was a 7/10, the ham was okay, brisket a bit chewy and the ribs overcooked, but still a good selection of food available, just short of what I expected of a good buffet.nnAlso had the A la carte dinner the wagyu beef rump.nnThis was disappointing for $65, not tender and was served without the croquette which was part of the meal and it came out as I was finishing my meal.nnI did expect more for an establishment for a main meal.nnThe breakfast buffet is sufficient, good DE coffee and selection, only comment here is change the eggs to not only scrambled or have several options available or advertise cooked to order maybe.nnGreat little gym with sufficient equipment for a work out.nnWould stay here again.
