The Parnell Hotel & Conference Centre

We were expecting better quality rooms for the price we paid. Old and tired rooms.nnRequests we made were never followed including a simple vacuum my room request. We were promised the second night that next day someone will vacuum the room but nothing until the next day, and even that I had to stand at reception complaining asking for a machine to vacuum the room myself.nnWe had to request every day to top up our coffee milk sugar etc.nnOnly good thing was bathroom was cleaned with new linen everyday.nnBathroom was full of mould on the walls & near windows as it doesn’t have an extractor.nnFirst day when I arrived with lots of bags. Asked for help at the reception and the man pointed me to a door saying there is a trolley behind those doors and help yourself with the trolley and bags to your room. Not expecting a bell boy service but at least take me to the trolley instead of pointing me to a direction where it took me a while to understand.nnRestaurant team was good and decent coffee; we did not eat there, just coffee.nnI sent an email complaining but never got a response. After few weeks I emailed again asking for a response only then I got a sorry email.nnRoom I stayed in - was good for 5 people including kids but was not worth the money we paid. I would not stay there again unless the price was less than half what I paid. You can far better quality stay in central city for the same price.

We had a family get together last night and it couldn't have been better. The room, menu and service was excellent. I would recommend it to anyone. Many thanks to the catering staff and Chris the duty manager.

Our first time at this hotel and we were very satisfied with our stay, our room was a good size,we had a one bedroom unit with 2 queens in the bedroom,a kitchen and a balcony with a city harbour view as we were on the fifth floor.nParnell is a very central handy location with many restaurants nearby and close the cbd.nwe booked well a head so the price was very affordable, a great stay we had, thanks

The ease of parking certainly contributed to the overall positive experience.nnI wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a clean, convenient, and welcoming place to stay. Friendly staff, good price, huge room that has all needed. Recommended.nnLiked ·nThe staff at the reception is extremely nice and friendly.nThe room is very big.nThe bed and pillows very comfortable.nThe kitchen is fully equiped and you get various choices of different teas,coffee and hot chocolate.nTheres a mini ac.nParking on premises.nAmazing shower in any way. Temperature, water pressure etc.nFor what you pay we were super surprised in a good way.nnA bit less liked ·nEven though the room felt clean , after staying more than one night you notice its a bit rounded around the corners. For example its not cleaned beneath the furniture - in the living room there was a single use plastic rack from what previous guest have bought, and under the bed there was a bottle cap, both of which easily noticeable if someone would just bend. And we got a cockroach :
