The Parnell Hotel & Conference Centre

Great experience with the hotel, from booking requests being followed to simple and easy check in, including storing our bags when we arrived into Auckland well before check in time. It was much appreciated. The room we stayed in was on level 2, in the seperate building a 2 bedroom apartment. It was well appointed, had everything we needed, was close to the guest laundry and was clean and comfortable. It would have got a 5 star if the main bedroom had a security stay on the window, i must admit that had me a little nervy with the kids! Otherwise quiet, great sleep quality and would be happy to recommend : beautiful city view of the sky tower from our room at night was cool, great location. Carparking included :

I have stayed here three times already. During one of my stays, I accidentally left my own pillow in the room, and they kindly kept it for me for more than two months.nnI would especially like to thank their friendly staff member Nita, who was always quick and kind in communicating with me. She also helped me before when I needed to borrow a multi-plug adapter from reception.nnAll of the staff here are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

The views of the city from this hotel are amazing. Situated on a hill in the prominent upper class suburb of Parnell on a safe and quiet street, I highly recommend staying here. Parking is free and they do not charge a damage deposit or bond unlike many inner city accommodation providers, meaning you can spend more of your money exploring the city or eating out. They also have a restaurant on site that does a delicious full buffet breakfast. I had an amazing sleep on their big comfortable beds and the balcony out of your room overlooking the city is the best spot for evening drinks. My room was also very clean. The only issue was that they need to clearly state on their computers when a customer has already paid for the room so that their staff know. I was asked twice during my stay to pay up when I had already. You can also buy the AT hop cards here and the Parnell Train station is just down the road, making it easy to get into the city. Lots of food places nearby as well and beautiful rose gardens. I would definitely stay again!

We recently stayed here for a night while in town for the Round the Bays event, and it was a fantastic base.nnOne of the biggest perks is the free parking, which is a rare find in this area. It can get quite busy when there’s a conference on, but it’s a huge convenience. The team was friendly and made the whole process easy and stress-free.nnOur room was tidy and well-maintained, with a modern bathroom that felt fresh. We stayed on the top level and were blown away by the views, you get a great look at both the water and the Sky Tower. It was the perfect spot to relax before and after the run. Highly recommend for anyone needing a central, reliable stay!

Our 2 bedroom unit was pretty terrible. Old, with a musty smell. Had to run to the nearest Woolworths to get a room freshener, to somehow survive the 3 days. Otherwise very basic, nothing close to what photos suggested. The bathroom was decent, except for the fact that the window was above the basin. The mirror was not in front of the basin, but on the side wall! Only good thing was the location- safe, close the restaurants. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone, though. Not good value.
