Stayed for a week while on a work course. Rooms adequate, and clean, though decor looking a bit tired. Jug and condiments stored in wardrobe. Not ideal. Eco option for linen useage great idea. Access to a gym. Great buffet breakfast and dinner options with plenty of choice and of a high quality. Staff professional and helpful. Have stayed b4 in a private capacity and would stay again.
Rooms were clean, standard. Buffet breakfast - good if you like continental but the cooked food was stone cold. Mushrooms desperately need a creamy sauce. Staff appear disinterested.Rooms: 5/5
The worse stay you can imagine. Requested to clean my room two days in a row and still no one touched my room to clean. Paying $260 whatever a night with no cleaning is an absolute disaster. Took photos, showed it staff and after that I have been given so many excuses that we are short of cleaners bla bla, I got my room changed finally. Extremely extremely disappointing. I am still staying here for another two nights and don't know what more worse I'll come across. I wish I can get another one rather than this rubbish property.
Issue with checking in which took 30 minutes to sort out - which ended up being an issue with their system. Room was too small. And had no housekeeping done. Restaurant food was average and well overpriced. Only positive was the good customer service from some of the staff.Rooms: 1/5
For a three star hotel, this certainly meets expectations. The room was smaller than I expected on arrival and I immediately checked to see if there was a bigger, more expensive room at the novotel next door, which would have been worth it for the price difference I think, but was unavailable. Once you get used to the small room it is ok. Good service from the restaurant, friendly staff. I have seen other reviewers say the toilets are old - the flush on mine got stuck in the middle of the night and wouldnt stop flushing making a lot of noise - the staff moved me to another room very quickly so the service is good. All in all it was a good stay. Checkin and checkout was fast, and parking onsite is great.
Room not ready at 3pm. Went out came back room double booked. Given small room not wat was booked. Next day offered upgrade of room but damage done. Original room not serviced. Would never recommend. Disgusting service for a big motel chainRooms: 1/5
checked it on 17/1/23 around 2124, I was attended by the Indian stocky guy at the reception, first approach by the reception guy was "can I have your name" I was showing him my appointment details on my phone but completely ignored it. he ask my credit card to hold $300 and ask me to enter my PIN # On the EFTPOS terminal, I replied The booking is fully paid from work and if I neer to give my credit card I don't need to enter my PIN, The reception said that's how they do it then he realized something and change the price to $50, it feels like we're negotiating on something, since I was so tired I just entered my PIN so I can go to my room; he gave me the swipe key and said, it's in level 1 1057, I went to the lift on the right side of the reception to go on level 1 but I couldn't find the room so I went up to level 2 and nothing so I went back to reception and ask the guy how to get to my room, he said that's an Novotel lift not ibis so I said, you didn't explain properly and there's no sign saying its Novotel or any direction to go to ibis room. I ask him to take me to my room and he said he's just going to tell his staff so I'm thinking he's the boss but very incompetent, all of the sudden the real boss appeared and take me to my room. long soty short, the stocky guy should have explain clearly how to get to my room and ibis should have put a clear sign to direct the guest to ibis building, the manager said the stocky guy is new, I totally understand if he told me at the beginning but yet he pretend and lied on my face from acting that he's the boss, and giving me a wrong information about the parking that it's only $7 but actually it was $22 per night. the stocky guy doesn't smile, did not apologize at all, he should not be at the reception, he's best as security guard, such a liar and incompetent. on the other hand the bar tender called Andri is such a lovely and warm person with great customer service, the ibis management should make him as a customer service trainer to teach other people how to handle customer.
I was initially surprised with how small & compact the room was, with the King Sized bed taking up most of the room! Plenty of power points but none next to the bed which, as we all know, is annoying. If you're wondering where the tea & coffee station is, it is hidden in the wardrobe. Took me a wee while to find it doh! The shower & toilet are in a small pod but once in the shower is quite spacious.
