They welcomed us with a small cuddly sheep toy for my daughter and even sent a birthday cake surprise as well. Totally shocked and a welcome surprise. Great customer service. Definitely stay again as it is easy to go the airport.

The hotel is cozy and comfortable. The room is not big but as it is an Ibis so this is what I was expecting from it. But the king bed is so comfortable, good size bathroom. It was closed to where I was going to do a business. Breakfast is great too. Fresh and many variety of food to choose. Also gluten free options and fresh squeeze orange juicer. One thing to note that Ibis and Novotel Ellerslie shared the breakfast room and the reception. I also love that Wildbean cafe of BP is just opposite the hotel so easy for me to grab my favourite coffee. Walkable to Epsom and Newmarket. Will definitely stay here again.

It’s a bit far from the city centre and 30 mins away from the airport. The room looked smaller so if you are coming as a couple, think about booking a bigger room. The restaurant service was amazing and I wanted to give credit to “Sunny” and another girl as the restaurant on 29 Jul who served us. Very customer friendly and approachable. Thank you.

For the intended purpose of my stay, I can say it was good. I have a comfortable room and it was clean at the same time the location is central to where I needed to be. A few minor issues were, no coffee and milk refill, the cups were not washed and rubbish bin not emptied even though I hanged the sign for the room to be tidied up.

Swift check in.Parking is a mess as a limited number of parking spots are available on site if checking in later PM. Central aircon and the windows are not able to open. Tidy room,white beddingone pillow case had a smudge/finger mark on it.Bathroom clean yet a pungent smell was coming from the gutter of the sink. All and all good stay.

I was planning to have a family reunion in Auckland and I called the hotel. Georgia? from customer service. The level of rudeness and defensiveness from her, when I asked her to check vacancies and options, was astonishing. She needs to learn what is customer service.Rooms: 1/5

I stayed at this hotel overnight for a work trip. While the facilities were comfortable and clean it has been an unfortunate experience for me as I was charged for room service I did not order. Upon enquiring I was sent the invoice which clearly had a different person's name although the person who is not known or related to me has shares my middle name. I also went out on a business dinner so I did not order room service. To this day I have not received a response to my email. This is very very disappointing and I don't feel comfortable giving my credit card details at check in because of this.

Extremely helpful, friendly staff. We really appreciated the hospitality, made our family and guests feel very welcome. Great facility, great location and fabulous restaurant. Everyone went out of their way to make a happy occasion very special. Food and drinks: Great menu and helpful friendly staff.

It was a very brief stay but I was so well looked after with a late checkout and fantastic room service meal as I arrived quite late and stunning breakfast the next morning. Everyone was so lovely and I really appreciated their professional kindness in my busy and stress state.Rooms: 5/5

Rooms are small, very basic, bathroom was similar to that on a cruise ship, had to step up into it, very compact, only had 1 cup for hot beverage, had to request a 2nd one so we could both have a cuppa, restaurant on site had a buffet dinner and wait staff were very nice. Meal was average. Great location for us to head across to Mt Smart Stadium, carpark charge was $25 for the night but literally outside the front door and very secure. Didn't hear any road noise which was great.
