La Quinta by Wyndham Ellerslie Auckland

Room was tidy and clean, but a bit lacking in that there was no cutlery so we couldn't eat in. We asked for late checkout twice prior to arrival, and I confirmed late checkout at the front desk, but was still woken up by the cleaners who had no idea my room was a late checkout. No reserved parking despite a high price, and the staff were asked to grab an item left in a colleague's room and give it to me when I checked out. Half an hour later, they still hadn't gotten it and I had to go back and ask for it. I couldn't see any baggage trolleys either, so getting our bags in and out was a bit painstaking. My air conditioner also made a high-pitched noise for most of the night despite it being off.nBit of a disappointing stay, though the location is excellent for what we needed, and like I said it was very clean and tidy.

Nice, new, well-appointed rooms. I was surprised to find a washing machine and clothes dryer in the room, handy addition. Well-appointed kitchen with way more than you would expect.nClean, modern with a trendy sleek interior design.nComfortable bed with nice linen.nThere is nothing about the accommodation itself that I could speak negatively about! However, if you are a corporate traveler and planning on charging back your meals , you will need to request a voucher at the front desk. We not told this, and when we got to the dinner venue, we were informed we needed to produce a voucher to charge back.

We stayed here only for one night. The hotel seems brand new. Our room was clean and tidy. The size of the sleeping- and bathroom was average. The bed was comfortable. We were positively surprised that the room had a washing machine, a dryer and laundry detergent!nnThere is free parking for its guests.nnIn terms or service, we arrived quite late at 9:50 pm, so we rang the bell, got connected with an employee and then we had check in by ourselves using the key boxes next to the entrance. Which wasn’t a problem for us as we are traveling a lot and therefore knew such procedures from before. But for someone with viewer English skills and less travel experience this could be challenging.nnStill this was one of our best stays during our 17 days New Zealand trip. I recommend it!

lovely stay , got a complimentary upgrade to a studio , which had a fully equipped kitchen / washer drier. the bed was super clean and comfortable. location brilliant for what we wanted but it isn’t the most picturesque outside !

Staying here for business. The room is clean but sparse with only the bed and no chairs or a desk so I’ve had to do emails from bed. My room is facing the freeway so it’s now the second morning I’ve been woken up at 5am to the very clear loud sounds of the trucks and cars. Not ideal when the first night I arrived at 2am following a delayed flight. First, and will be my only stay here.
