Rooms are modern, comfortable and brilliant overall. Having a Studio means I can make my own coffee plunger & coffee provided in the mornings and if I want, use the kitchenette to prepare breakfast if I had my own groceries. This is useful because there is no restaurant or cafe facilities in the building. But the location is ideal for someone like me who is visiting a nearby office. And the lack of a meals facility in the building is not really a big deal as there are lots of decent restaurants and cafes in a nearby central area called “The Green”. Only issue is when it’s raining and you don’t have an umbrella, or if you just what that extra convenience of not leaving the building.nnA note to the management: I especially appreciate your use of refillable soap and shampoo/conditioner containers in the shower and hand basins. Your environmental awareness is recognised!! But please ensure that your housekeeping staff checks that they remain filled. The first night’s stay was greeted with no bath soap when I showered.nnOverall, I recommend staying here.
Spent the night here because my AirNZ flight was cancelled NZ4, Nov 28-29. I met 3 staff and they all were exceptionally kind and caring and understanding to our plight, despite us not actually being the paying party. The gentleman checking us in at 1 am got through like 7 rooms in 10 minutes, knowing we were exhausted. It was impressive. The gal working at the front desk in the morning made sure our bellies were full on AirNZ’s dime and things to do while we waited for our rebooked flights, and housekeeping was happy to help with extra necessities. Even if I was paying, I’d come back in a heartbeat.
My recent stay at this hotel had its highs and lows. On the positive side, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, making for a great night's sleep when the noise permitted. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean, which created a welcoming and hygienic environment. The staff were a standout—always friendly, approachable, and quick to assist with any requests, which really enhanced the overall experience.nnHowever, there were some notable drawbacks. The rooms themselves are quite basic, perfectly fine for a quick one-night stay but not ideal for longer visits. I’d strongly recommend upgrading to a one-bedroom apartment if you’re staying more than a night, as these offer better facilities and a more comfortable setup. The biggest issue was the noise—both the motorway and nearby trains were incredibly disruptive. I raised this concern on the first night, and while the staff kindly moved me to another room, the noise remained a persistent problem, making it hard to relax.nnAnother frustration was finding the hotel in the first place. The signage is poor and unclear, which made navigation tricky, especially for first-time visitors. For anyone walking down Sultan Ave, make sure to take the right fork at the roundabout to reach the front entrance. The left fork leads to resident parking and won’t get you to the hotel’s main entrance, which added unnecessary confusion to my arrival.nnOverall, the hotel has some great qualities, but the noise and basic room setup are significant drawbacks. If you’re just passing through for a night, it’s manageable, but for longer stays, consider upgrading and be prepared for some navigation challenges.
Great location just off the motorway 1nCar park spaces limited and cost $15 or you can park around the area and walk for 5 mins.nNo food at hotel but you can drive to The Village in 5 mins or walk in 10 mins; plenty of cafes, restaurants and a supermarket.
Good place for short term stay. Kitchen is quite simple, comfortable bed, quite small wardrobe, good quiet air conditioning.nIt is very convenient that there is a washing/drying machine in the room.
