Waipuna Hotel and Conference Centre

Rooms are fairly modern, spacious and well equipped. Comfy beds and very good bathroom amenities in the rooms. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. The restaurant does great food too, particularly the buffet tea and breakfast. Enjoy coming here for work

We recently stayed at Waipuna and while our stay began with a bit of a mix-up — we were initially placed in the wrong room, completely different from what I had booked — the way the situation was handled made all the difference.nnThe receptionist and the manager were absolutely amazing. They listened with genuine care, reassured us, and worked quickly to resolve the issue. By the next day, everything was sorted, and we were moved into the right room, which made our stay so much more enjoyable.nnThings don’t always go perfectly, but what really matters is how a hotel responds when issues arise. The kindness and professionalism of the staff turned what could have been a disappointing experience into a positive one. We truly appreciated their warmth and effort, and it left us with a great impression of the hotel.nnWould definitely stay again, knowing the team goes above and beyond for their guests.

We stayed in 107 overall the room was great. But the door frame and windows leading out to the garden area need to be thoroughly cleaned including curtains. There is lots of mould on the door and window frames and curtains. Was meaning to say something to reception on check out but was in a rush and forgot

I recently enjoyed the High Tea at Waipuna and it was such a lovely experience. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and there was a great balance of savoury and sweet treats. The scones were warm and delicious, and the selection of teas paired perfectly. The staff were friendly and attentive, which made the whole afternoon feel really relaxed and welcoming.nnIt’s also excellent value compared to other high teas around Auckland, without compromising on quality. The setting was comfortable with a nice atmosphere – perfect for catching up with friends or celebrating something special.nnI’d happily recommend Waipuna’s High Tea and look forward to going back again.

Great Easter Sunday special buffet lunch. For those that booked in for the night “We enjoyed our stay here as a family of four. Was so nostalgic being back to stay as we haven't been prior to the first lockdown in 2020. Wellingtons restaurant for lunch and breakfast was perfect! Delicious food, friendly prompt service from staff. Rooms were clean and cosy. Great place for a weekend staycation close to home. Thanks for having us!”
