Waipuna Hotel and Conference Centre

Great value. Nice room. Free and safe parking with lots of available spaces. Pleasant staff. Great location with fairly easy access to downtown including train access via 15 minute walk to Sylvia Park station, airport, and steps away from the very pleasant trail along the Panmure Basin. Highly recommend walking that trail for scenic views and seeing the Swag bird. During our stay this hotel was very quiet and the rooms/beds were very clean and comfortable with nice shower. Only very minor issue was that the nice pool and hot tub are outside okay, was too cold for pool okay but hot tub which front desk talked about was actually operating under a tight cover which would have required some work to unhook the cover and use the hot tub. Thus I had headed out there in swim gear at advice of front desk only to find it was covered up and wasn’t sure they wanted me to unhook like 20 tie downs and uncover it to use it.

Lovely hotel. Beautiful view from the room we stayed in and fantastic room service with a great menu. Best buffet breakfast I've had in a very long time. Amazing shower.nWould 100% recommend this hotel.

Spent five days, enjoyed the whole experience. Meals were delicious. All staff are so friendly right from the front desk to restaurant and the lovely girls who service the rooms. Highly recommend!

This is our second stay here we were impressed by the up to date new bathrooms in the lagoon wing, the cost is affordable - provides comfortable beds and close access to Sylvia park 2min and the airport 20 min.nWe had young children in our group and we really appreciated the restaurants above and beyond care of them.nAll enjoyed the pool my one improvement would be a hotter adult spa pool would have topped off an awesome stay.

Stayed here for three nights with two young children , room size and bed size are great . Jess one of the house keeper on level 3 , very very kindly watched over my washing and put it in the dryer for me while I headed out to the shops ,saved me a lot of stress , thank you so kindly Jess ! Found the rest of staff super friendly as well :nOnly issue is I felt that the buffets overall slightly overpriced , for the quality etc microwave in room would have been handy especially with young kids but overall definitely will be staying there again when my husband is up for work again:
