Great views for a self service apartment style stay. Staff are excellent. Location is a few mins walk away from the wharf & downtown restaurant and approx 10min walk to sklyline. The only negative would be that furnishings either need an upgrade or refresh and this was the most unpleasant thing about stay. Nearby activities: Steam boat ride. Wharf cruise. Hydro attach. Jet boating. Milford sound tours buses. Skyline.
Really well equipped apartment with beautiful views over the lake watching the comings and goings from the moorings and berths. Apartment management very helpful. Easy walk to many/most activities. Gated underground parking. All first class.Rooms: 5/5
I really, really really wanted to love this place and we were excited to book a room overlooking the lake even though it was more expensive than some other options. However..... We didn't know there would be remedial works happening at the same time we were staying, and definitely didn't know this would be happening in the room next to us and above us until 8pm at night! HAD I known this I would not have chosen to stay and avoided the scaffolding by our window, the messy view to the town and the construction noise. I can say the staff were very friendly and the units are nice, but really, I think you need to let your customers know that there are works going on when they book. It really does affect the enjoyment of their stay and will give you a bad name...
We had to cancel because of family emergency so an email was sent. No response and finally had to call. Apparently you need to make phone calls since emails would be unresponsive. The email was responded to after the phone call so if anything, make a phone call for help. The rating is actually just for the lack of response to initial email service and not to the stay itself since that never really happened. I’m sure if they read my initial email, something could have been done. I probably should’ve followed up with an international phone call but then again, I thought email was the better way to go.
Worth every buck. The structure is outdated but you can see the effort of upgrading it. The furnitures weren't as bad as previous comments. They only have 2 small pots and a pan which all you'll need for a comfortable stay. Rooms are small but the living/kitchen space are huge. I requested a higher floor as i would want a better view than the street view. They gave me Level 3 which is 1 floor higher than the street level. A bit noisy still but it doesn't go all the way to the rooms so no complains. We had a better experience staying here than our previous stay at a 4-star hotel next door.
If you don’t look closely it is a lovely place to stay. But the cleanliness of our bedroom specifically was really bad. The headboard, behind the bed very visible due to the bed frame and the fan in the ceiling…. This was so bad…. You can wipe a finger on the top of the headboard and get a huge amount of dust. The dust on the fan is so built up it’s starting to seep over the edges of the blades. Also the mould on the windows in the lounge is building up. When paying a premium for an apartment for a week you hope for a lot cleaner. Won’t return.
Not much more you can ask for. Staff are simply brilliant and made it so easy. Location and parking perfect. Wonderful views. Simply amazing so go ahead and book. Nearby activities: Walking distance to everything Walkability: So easy
Rooms are clean with good wifi. Walkable to the heart of Queenstown. Recommended to stay. They do not offer amenities like food or room service. It’s basically like an air b&b or serviced apartment sort of thing.Rooms: 4/5
Beautiful views and convenient location. Didn't realise it was a non-serviced apartment so doesn't get cleaned everyday and you need to throw the bins out at the end. Luckily the views made up for it.Rooms: 4/5
Our first experience of ex pensive accommodation. A real, treat. Great kitchen with views so making the most of making our own meals with a magnificent view. Huge TV with everything and in the bedroom. CENTRAL to everything. A bit overpriced even for here but lovely.Rooms: 5/5
