Had the bare essentials for a comfortable stay, and was located literally a minute's drive from the town centre. Like all other motels and accommodation there, room had a spectacular view of the water and mountain scenery of Queenstown. Worth it.

Avoid this place. The photos are misleading. It was the most terrible place I have stayed. I just left after one night in one of the private rooms..... Every where was covered in spider nets including rooms and kitchen. I guess it has not been cleaned for years. The security was zero, the doors were always open and anyone could easily walk from outside into the kitchen, toilets and even rooms.... No soap was even available in the toilet... Overall the building is terribly old and not serviced.... I killed a large spider on the bed as soon as I entered the room.... All over night I was bitten by some insects while sleeping... The mattress was literally broken and I got a terrible backache because of sleeping over that.... Electrical saftey was not observed, the wires of ceiling lamp was out and somsone could easily touch it and get electrud....There are no lifts and one has to lift his suitcase or backpack 4 levels up from the ground floor.

Overlooking the lake, it was quite spacious accommodation with 2 rooms and a drawing room, and all of it was so reasonably priced. Strongly recommended.

Bed: firm enough, clean enough. Reception: Friendly and flex but bit surprised with the room keys stuck on the entrance door outside with no one inside the reception desk. Kitchen: old but functional. Bathroom: Refurbished lately? Looks new. hair dryer in room. Room: old but spacious with small glass table, tv with tv stand, shelf for suitcases. Only concern: Room 1 back door wasn't lockable and not locked when we got into the room. Since there's bunch of noisy and drunk neighbors in a motel, it would be really nice if they can completely lock the back door. (Lucky we managed to find this out and somehow locked the door) Maybe dependent on the season and this is not directly related to the motel but neighbors were too noisy with dragging furniture and making loud banging noises.

Spacious room with a kitchenette, great view out of the window of the lake. Our room had a slight smell, but it was not unbearable and you wouldn't notice after a couple of minutes. Fairly close to Queenstown city too, about a 5 min walk
