Absolutely Amazing Experience at Hampshire Holiday Park!nnWe had such a wonderful experience at Hampshire Holiday Park. The standard check-in time is 11 AM, but we arrived early around 9 AM as it was raining and we had nowhere else to go. The staff were incredibly kind and understanding, they let us check in early without any fuss, which was such a relief.nnBefore finding Hampshire, we had visited another nearby Queenstown holiday park due to its high ratings on Google. However, they asked us to wait outside until 11 AM, which didn’t feel right, especially in the rain. On top of that, they said we’d have to pay for the previous night if we wanted to check in early, which I wasn’t comfortable with. That’s when I looked for an alternative, and luckily found Hampshire Holiday Park.nnWe had our motorhome with us, and the facilities at Hampshire were perfect. Everything was easy to access, the bathrooms and toilets were spotless, and there was even a huge kitchen with an organised box of free food items. Guests can leave unused food there so it doesn't go to waste, a thoughtful and sustainable touch.nnOverall, I’m so glad we stayed here. The warm welcome and well-maintained amenities made all the difference. Highly recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area!
LOVE IT! WILL DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN!nnWe flew down from Auckland for Easter break, we stayed at Hampshire holiday park for 1 week absolutely love this place! We first stayed 1 night in a studio room Parore before checking into our tiny cabin which was our home for the remaining nights.nnYou are first greeted with warmth from the reception team and are always there when needed something.nTiny cabins were perfect for just my husband and I the beds were super comfy and snuggly, you are provided with all kitchen utensils, microwave and fridge.nnLocation was perfect and convenient to all areas which was a bonus for us as we did not have a vehicle, i didn’t realise the skyline gondola was our backyard and it was our first activity the next day! You also have mini golf and kingpin close by and the view from our cabin every morning was beautiful.nnWill definitely recommend and be staying here again on our next trip! Thank you Hampshire Team for our awesome hospitality!.
We really liked the location of this holiday park. It’s very close to Queenstown lakeside and the main shopping streets, which is super convenient. On a clear day, you can even see the lake and snow-capped mountains, which is amazing. The room itself is a bit old and not perfectly maintained — we noticed some cold air coming in through the window at night. But luckily, they provide a heater and electric blankets, so it was still comfortable.
Stayed in a campervan on a powered site. Facilities are good and staff are helpful, although the vans are parked close together so you don’t have much or any outside space. But the location is amazing so happy to deal with that. There’s also some construction works at the moment but they’re not loud and don’t start too early.
Excellent location. Very nice facilities. Very clean. We stayed in a studio for two nights. Good views of the mountains. Showers are lovely but very dark. The beds were very soft so not great for our backs. Good value for Queenstown prices.
