Excellent location with just a short walk to the lake and waterfront. Rooms nice and clean and serviced daily while we were there. So nice to have fresh towels! Breakfast was nice and staff friendly. Would definitely recommend due to it's location and will certainly stay again when we're back in town.

We were lucky enough to be allocated one of the rooms in the wing of the hotel undergoing renovation.  The rooms are fabulous.  We arrived early and were offered valet parking.  When we came back just before 2 pm, our bags were in our room. What a lovely room. We even had an Alexa! Also air conditioning, which is unusual for  New Zealand.nThe only improvement would be to offer guests a bathtub instead of a shower. Then it would be just perfect.

We had 3 nights in this perfectly located hotel on the lake in Queenstown within walking distance to everything.  We were warmly greeted by check in staff, in fact all staff we came across were very friendly and helpful.  Our room was great, couldn't have asked for a better location.  Highly recommend!

Best location by lake, fantastic buffet breakfast, good room, and all backed up with friendly service. Arrived at 10pm after severely disrupted journey and explained that we'd ditched the kids to celebrate a big birthday and went to park the car. When I came back I was given a card with birthday greetings and a nice bottle of wine. So thoughtful! All staff at Queenstown were friendly and helpful. Thanks Team!! We had the best stay! Highly recommended.

Prior to our five night stay I noted some really negative reviews. Our experience was entirely positive. Great front desk, house keeping and concierge. No problem with lifts or drinking water. You pay for valet parking but all parking in this area is expensive - I also tried the Wilson public parking and it turned out more expensive!  The location is perfect. Our room 434 in the Horne wing was quiet with a decent view of the hills. Everything worked well in the room. There is a guest laundromat which is fair priced and a great blessing as we are on a long trip. It is true that some of the floor, walls and fittings are a little worn but really not a big issue at all. Did not try the breakfast or dinner as there are really great options nearby with lake views. Thanks to everyone for a great stay, would definitely stay again.
