We're so happy with our stay. As three families with 6 kids aging from 3 to 8 this hotel was a great choice.nWithin walking distance to the lakeside playground, shops and restaurants and ski bus pick ups it has it all.nBreakfast buffet was very convenient as they open 6:00am which gave us enough time to have breakfast before heading to mountains with a great variety of food.nYet the highlight of this hotel is the staff! They're patient, lovely and very accommodating, ready to help guests all the time.nThe hotel itself is a bit old but clean with a good atmosphere.
The best stays are often the ones where you really just don't have much to say because everything just went smoothly. My stay was exactly as hoped, no issues arose and it helped make my holiday nice and relaxing. Staff were attentive when needed, housekeeping was on point and just overall I felt that the stay was very pleasant. Kudos to all the staff at Novotel Queenstown.
Good location.nNo free parking. $35 per daynThe biggest issue is the wash room door. It has no lock which is fine, but the door has huge gap and able to see through from outside of wash room. You can’t believe it? Check the photo attached. I took this photos from inside of wash room. I can watch the TV in the room using the right side of gap and I can check anyone in and out from room door using the left side of gap. This hotel should fix this fundamental issue first.
Great location, decor is fairly dated but overall quite clean. Nice touch where the room attendant will leave a card after every clean. Location is superb, right by the lake and easy 5 min walk to Main Street. Staff were very knowledgeable and courteous.
Location and staff are awesome - 10 stars out of 5!nUnfortunately the we were let down with the very dated room and bathroom, which was small and made you want to leave as soon as possible. The bed was the smallest double I think I have ever slept in and it did not provide any comfort. For the amount we paid we were expecting better.
