We stayed at night at Copthorne. I think they could improve their services further. For a 4 stars hotel, I was hoping they would provide parking, air conditioner, and heater. However, these were not provided. These items are basic necessities for a high standard hotel. The room we stayed in was okay. There was a step to bathroom that was basically tripping everyone when you are not paying attention. Overall, it is an okay hotel. For it's price my expectation was not met.

Although this is a lovely hotel situated on the Hill with a bar terrace that has beautiful lake views the rooms are so incredibly hot morning noon & night that I've had to mark it down. A fan was supplied but the inside heat just to much. Being on the ground floor we couldn't leave our door open like balcony rooms, plus we had scaffolding outside our window. We had to reserve a table for the restaurant which happened to be in the bar, but it was a nice meal.

Splendid rooms with lake views that beg exaggeration. Walk or use complimentary shuttle to activities for the adventurous or laid back. Explore an accessible downtown with a diverse and copious array of cuisine.

Was a comfortable room with a lovely view but due to the design and age of the hotel the room was a long walk from reception. Beds were comfortable to sleep in but were small and rather soft. Also no air conditioning just a fan and bathroom sink was blocked and shower (over bath) sprayed onto the floor if not careful. For the price I expected better even in Queenstown but they get a lot of tour group business so I suspect not worried about domestic tourist experience.

Close to the center of the city, the hotel has clean and tidy rooms, offers a good selection of food for breakfast. Recommended for your vacation stay
