Unfortunately quite tired, in serious need of a refurbishment, and poor value for money. The small bathroom was particularly poor, with a very dated plastic curtain for the in-bath shower. It's not all bad, however, the staff were very helpful and friendly, the view of the lake is good and the location is great if you want to be close to the CBD.

To begin with the room was hugely over priced. The bathroom complete with mouldy wood rotting in the shower, coupled with the tub faucet almost falling out of the wall and being held by caulking is not a superior room. The view was blocked by vegetation. There was difficulty getting the heat working and the heater was old and looked like it was burnt. In addition the window facing the deck was cracked and shattering. Lighting was poor and the use of CFL bulbs tacky at best. For three nights at 800 plus dollars it was a rip off! Heartland.... Its time for a massive Reno to justify your gouging pricing.

A beautiful view of Lake Wakatipu from the hotel, walking distance to Queenstown, comfortable bed, warm towels from heated tower rails and refreshing amenities by Earth Botanics.
