We had a generally pleasant stay at the hotel. The location was ideal—close to key attractions and convenient for getting around. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. One of the highlights was the restaurant; the food was consistently very good, with a nice variety of options and great service.nnThat said, the hotel itself could use some attention. The decor and furnishings felt a bit dated, and there were areas that clearly needed a more thorough cleaning. A deep dusting and some maintenance updates would go a long way in improving the overall experience.
I had a Fantastic stay at the Crowne Plaza during this Easter holidays. The central location of the hotel is extremely convenient when you have numerous day tours, especially if you have kids accompanying you.nHotel Service is indeed remarkable. I had a great experience with Keira, one of the staff members, who helped me secure a child car seat at the last moment for one of the key tours I had planned. She treated it with great kindness and appropriate urgency and resolved the matter for me instantly. Keira, Much Appreciated!!nI must also admit that I have had the best pumpkin ravioli in their restaurant. Highly recommended if you are visiting them.
Great location- close to the lake and main attractions. Good views of the lake and surrounding hills from the balcony. Breakfast was very good, for one day they gave us a packed breakfast for the trip to Milford sound - would say that the breakfast was amazing. Staff were always so helpful and friendly.
We have been staying at this property every year since 2020 and we loved its location and services provided. We feel very much at home whenever we checkin at your hotels. The location of this hotel allows us to easy access to many high quality restaurants that are just 2 minutes walk away and town centre is also just 5 minutes walk away. We arranged sightseeing to Mt Cook and a few high quality wines tasting day trip and the pickup or drop off point are just right outside the hotel entrance. For those who prefer to use public bus transportation, a bus stop is just right in front of the hotel and service No. 1 takes you to Frankton airport for about NZD2-4 per pax. We shall be back in May 2026 for our sixth visit to this lovely place.
Perfect place to stay in Queenstown as you are central to everything and right opposite the lake. Staff were exceptional we had breakfast included which was a wonderful buffet with many choices and they also offer fresh cooked omelettes of your choicenWell worth the extra cost. Highly recommend
