Having been to the Newmarket Reading Cinema my expectations were high. After a long walk around harbour town it’s definitely nice to rest your legs but it would be even better if the seats had leg rests .
We unfortunately wouldn’t go back here. Went to gold lounge Saturday afternoon, the service from the girl behind the counter wasn’t good & then the lounge had a really strong smell of mould or something just smelt really dirty, the chairs were old & cracked too. The food also that’s offered is very low quality not much to choose from either. Even though it is half the price to event cinemas & is budget friendly, I’d still prefer event cinemas over this- much better experience all round, comfier chairs, and way better food on the menu that tastes good as well.
We watched a couple of movies while we were visiting the Gold Coast. We didn't see much audience but theatre itself was clean. Good sound quality and lighting. Value for money for sure.

Best Cinema in Gold coast! Clean and tidy washrooms. Happy to see some Indian regional films here!
