Had two wonderful Gold Class experiences recently at Event Cinemas Robina, watching The Devil Wears Prada during the day and Michael in the evening. On both occasions, the service was friendly, attentive and professional, making the experience feel extra special.nThe Gold Class cinema was comfortable and well presented, and everything ran smoothly from start to finish. A fantastic way to enjoy a movie, whether it's a date night or just a treat for yourself. We'll definitely be back for another Gold Class experience!
Event Cinemas Robina is, without exaggeration, one of the best cinema experiences on the Gold Coast. I’ve been to both Robina and Event Cinemas Pacific Fair, and honestly, they don’t even feel like the same company — that’s how big the difference is.nnRobina is spotless. Clean floors, clean seats, comfortable seating, bigger and better screens, and a genuinely pleasant atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The staff are friendly, professional, and actually seem to care about the experience they’re providing. Everything feels well run, modern, and maintained to a high standard.nnNow compare that to Pacific Fair, which is the complete opposite. I’ve been there multiple times, and every visit has been awful. Dirty floors, dirty seats, uncomfortable seating, poor upkeep, and staff who don’t come across as particularly helpful or welcoming. The whole place feels neglected and unpleasant — to the point where it genuinely ruins the movie experience.nnWhat makes it even more frustrating is that this is the same cinema brand, just a different location. There is absolutely no excuse for the massive drop in quality at Pacific Fair when Robina proves how good Event Cinemas can be when it’s run properly.nnIf you’re choosing between the two: go to Robina, every single time. It’s cleaner, more comfortable, better staffed, and overall a million times better. Event Cinemas Robina sets the standard — Pacific Fair doesn’t even come close.
Very disappointed last night we went to see the Odyssey and had to leave about half way through due to the extreme level of the sound. It truely ruined what I had hoped would be an amazing film. I’m sure the sound recordists and designers that worked on this film did not intend for the sound level to feel so offensive and violently loud. Maybe Robina could check its levels given how cinema is a dying format that we are all trying to keep alive.
We ended up going to this cinema when we had tickets for pac fair for the Spider-Man movie. All the staff were so lovely with helping us even though it was our mistake and the lovely manager Alyssa really helped us out even though they were so so busy! Such great staff and a great selection of snacks!
Great cinema! Went to Gold class on Sunday night yesterday and It was a lovely time, the food and drinks were delicious and the two ladies working in the bar were wonderful, they both had amazing customer service and were very friendly and welcoming : I was very impressed and wanted to give these ladies the praise they deserve, I was also told If I sign up for a cinebuzz account I will get 10% off food and drinks which I was unaware off and I will be signing up and coming back!!
