Good movie night out. Consistent with the Event franchise. Wheelchair friendly. Secure mall parking. Scan movie ticket once done at boom for free parking. Friendly helpful staff. Will definitely return. Kids play area.
We love coming here for the Gold class section. Friendly staff and good deals if you sign up on the event website. I just recently watched the new Jurassic World and Dr. Strange with my mom and brother. The seats are super comfy and spacious, popcorn is perfectly buttered and salted. I just moved to the area with my husband from the US so this event cinema at Australia fair will be our go-to theater for gold class from now on. Next time we'll have to try their cocktails.
I wish more people would support this cinema. This is a fantastic cinema located in the upper floor of the Australia Fair Shopping Centre. The staff are very kind and friendly, the cinema is spotlessly clean and in tip-top condition. Cinema 3 where I watched a couple of films was very clean and plush, the seats are extremely comfortable and the quality of the the screen projection is sublime. The sound could be improved a wee bit, as it was a bit too 'front channel' for me and lacking in 'surround' - but that could be the fault of the film, not the cinema. I saw two films for half-price on a Tuesday and was really impressed. I love the fact that they have such a variety of world cinema as standard although people aren't coming from the local ethnic communities to support this, which is a shame. I also love the fact that their showing times are quite random which allows you to choose a really convenient time slot. I would highly recommenced this cinema and urge locals to support your local cinema, because if you don't, you'll miss it when it's gone!
Must have come on a night when no one knew what was going on. Tickets for Gold Class are cheap compared to Victorian ticket prices. Food is expensive for what it is. They forgot to bring our dessert out during the second half of the movie, then we had to almost forensically prove we didn't get it just for a refund for choc tops! Seats were comfy, sound was good.
Kids are enjoying their first gold class. A bit pricey but it’s worth it. Very clean and organised.
Pleasantly surprised with this cinema. It's quite good. I went with my partner today and everything was very organised. Nice staff, good snacks and drinks. Popcorn was fresh. Seats were a lot more comfortable than I expected. The only thing I could say is that the aircon was a bit cold but that's not a big deal Good value on Tuesday's, so I guess that's when I would visit again.
Love going to the Gold Clasd movie. You get your own recliner chair to relax and watch the movie. Also great drinks and snacks there also.
Good cinema ,love the points system with free sessions, although many of them are NFT- no free tiks, comfy seats and good quality sound, Gold Class lounge is great.
For the 3rd time in a row at Gold Class drinks weren’t delivered before a meal. Even though I specifically asked for it this time, given my previous experiences. My sons soft drink wasn’t delivered at all. Would this be acceptable in a restaurant? We paid $120 for food and drinks for 2 people, so it’s not cheap... Do better!! By the way there was only 8 in the theatre; how hard can it be to give good service?
Never had a problem here. I've gone to see a movie alone, movies on a date with my partner and movies with our child as a family, every time we have been well looked after by lovely staff. Clean and tidy cinemas and amenities. A fantastic cinema, would highly recommend
