My family and I went to see a movie last night 29/11/24 and was greeted by the young female manager. She was an absolute delight, warm, friendly and service with a genuine smile.  She actually enhanced the overall experience, what an asset to have as your front of house person.

We enjoy the range of films shown, but  on the last two occasions the air conditioning hasn't been working, rendering the cinema for too hot and stuffy to tolerate. We received complimentary tickets as we chose not to stay. Why can it not be displayed on the website when air con will be restored again? In summer it's unacceptable to sit in an airless, hot cinema. We won't be back till the air con is working again!

This is false advertising. As shown in the name of the business, it states that it is a 5 Star Business, however upon looking at the reviews, it clearly states that it is only 4.6 stars, which is indeed NOT 5 stars. However the Cinema has great customer service and offers incredible services, such as lots of parking, great food, comfortable seats and the atmosphere is incredible while watching a movie.

I had a really unpleasant experience at this theatre today. This is the third time the air conditioning in the cinema has not worked. The lady at the counter was unhelpful and disinterested. When I asked to sign up for the membership she told me to go online. The  last time I was there I complained about there being air con and how unbearably hot it was in there and she told me she didn’t know how to work it so she couldn’t do anything. Too bad. Today, I was told there was no ice for a drink and it was seriously well over 35 degrees in the cinema. It was ridiculous. No notification in reception that there was no air con and still charged full price. Surely the owner has a duty of care for their patrons? I like to support local, but I’m afraid that after 3 bad experiences I won’t be returning.

Regal Cinemas at Graceville has long been known as an intimate moviehouse catering to the taste of discerning mature theatregoers.  People would travel across many suburbs to specifically enjoy this experience. Sadly this has changed in recent times with barely an arthouse film to be found at selected daytime showings so suited to senior needs. How very disappointing.
