My wife and I had our first visit to Cinebar Rosalie to watch Nolan’s Odyssey epic movie, by the way!, and we’re so glad we discovered this place.nnWe’ve finally found somewhere that combines a fantastic cinema experience with genuinely great food, all in the beautiful Rosalie Brisbane. It’s the perfect night out.nnThe food was delicious, the sound was outstanding, the picture quality was superb, and what really topped it all off was the wonderful service. A special shout-out to Chris and Louella for making us feel so welcome and looking after us so well.nnSafe to say we’ll be back many times. Looking forward to making Cinebar Rosalie one of our regular date-night spots!n— Elly & AdriannTip- get there a bit early and have a drink at the bar - you'll avoid the last minute line/rush . Also they provide foot stools and cushions.
The size of the theaters are great, and the drinks are awesome - I love that they do themed ones. It's the food where it falls down a bit, things like French fries or the shared player of steamed buns/veggie rolls were fine but mains were off for flavors and value for cost. So, treat this like a regular theater and ignore the dinner options but stock up on the well made drinks/candy or snacks and you'll be super happy with the value!
Love this cosy little cinema with cheap Tuesdays and gold star in-cinema meal and drink service, super comfy seats with cushions and the privacy of paired seating. Whenever i've been, its been lovely and quiet. My favourite cinema in Brissy!
Attended a movie yesterday. I ordered and paid for a sundae prior to the movie starting. More than an hour into the movie I had to race down stairs, wait to be served and chase up my sundae. The attendant said they didn’t have my order. I showed her the transaction on my online credit card statement and the receipt from their website. She argued with me and said it had declined. Rather than stand there and argue I returned to the movie - having now missed over 10 minutes. At the conclusion of my movie I spoke to a different attendant. He explained they have an ongoing IT glitch whereby orders from within the cinema “bounce”. He handed me a professionally printed brochure explaining the issue. I suggested that rather than argue with a customer perhaps they should just deliver the orders and sort it out later, given it is a known issue with their IT system, or remove the ability to place orders within the cinema if they can’t guarantee delivering on those orders. He said management refuse to allow customers to have free food - I reminded him that my credit card had been charged again showing him the transaction on my online banking. Nowhere on my order did it say “payment declined” as is stated on their brochure. And my credit card definitely did not “decline”. If it had I would have simply tried another credit card. He told me if the transaction wasn’t reversed in a few days that I could ring them to arrange a refund.nnJust a really poor experience. You go to the Blue Room to enjoy a movie and some food. I missed a section of the movie and didn’t get food delivered so I won’t be returning.
Time to update the cinema rooms. Chairs so uncomfortable that I couldn't sit still and noticed I wasn't the only one. The cushion on the chair was like slice of stale bread . Screen is too small to watch action/sci fi movies. Staff amazing, food good, service good.
