Last two times we've been, the service has been mostly lovely but a bit of a let down. In both instances, one of our meals was either 1 forgotten and delivered much much later in the movie after asking an attendant as they delivered someone else's order or, 2 tried to deliver the wrong item with no information about whether we would actually receive our order. In the second instance, we were left waiting another half hour before my partner had to leave the cinema and miss part of the movie to follow up. It was disheartening to be receiving our meal while everyone was getting their dessert. We witnessed another couple also not receive their meal, despite asking a server about it who said he'd follow up. They were told they should've left the cinema to ask at the bar, which again seems unfair as they then miss the movie they've paid for. A disappointing occurrence which really takes the shine off what would be an otherwise lovely evening out.
What has happened? Screens and bar codes to scan and redeem tickets, a menu table at the entrance?, QR Codes to order food and drink? No human presence potentially at all for the whole experience. This is not what Cinebar experience is suppose to be! If I want screens and codes and online experience - I can get the non human service a lot closer to home and save myself the money! If you want to offer a service that excels, drives customer experience and is different to everyone else… bring back the human connection with staff. Don’t make your consumers do the work and reduce the status of the Cinebar to save yourself dollars in staffing bills. Long Story short - do better!
Like visiting an old friend's place, to Netflix n chill, except by the time you've enjoyed all the hospitality on offer you are 50 bucks lighter. Good thing they are so likeable. Most comfy cinema in Brisbane.
Really has gone down hill of late. We had to leave a film because we were so cold we couldn't stand it any longer. We complained about the air con, and they said they would fix it but never did.
Absolutely loved my experience here! The movie was great and the facilities were stunningly beautiful. There are pillows and footrest's for comfort, and the plush seat backs recline for ultimate relaxation.nOne of the best Cinemas I've ever been to. The gorgeous Art Deco interior design takes you back to another era!nI'll definitely be back again!!! Highly recommend!!!
