Below average seats and small screens for $24 just doesn’t stack up. Hoyts has recliner lounge chairs for the same price. Event Cinemas need to either step up their offering or reduce their pricing. I feel genuinely disappointed and wouldn’t pay to come here again.
Firstly my sincere gratitude is going to the store manager Helena and duty manager Eleanor with their incredible team members. I left my handbag behind after the night show Project Hail Mary finished at 11.45 pm yesterday on 7th April. They recovered my handbag and put it in safe keeping until i picked it up just an hour ago. All my belongings including mobile phone, cash and wallet are untouched. What a wonderful group of honest, professional people ever existed in this world. Their communication level is excellent as I emailed Events Cinema at midnight hour to report my lost property and Eleanor replied to me insrantly regardless at the late hour. Keep up the good work Indooroopilly team. Secondly, totally disagree with the previous reviewer @William. I have been to Sunnybank Hoyts cinema for years and the environment at the food and beverage area is disgustingly messy and dirty. Most of the time it ran out of Slurshee supply. It's toilets are filthy with overstuffed rubbish bin. The reclining chairs are old and some with ripped cushion. So what with the recliner chair?! It's the kind professional staff members matter the most!
The only reviews I do are good ones to inspire and encourage people and say thank you with attitude. It takes a tremendously disappointing, unprofessional and negative experience for me to do a review like this.ntwice event cinemas - at Mt Gravatt in Brisbane and at Indooroopilly - took hundreds of dollars from us to sit and watch the live BTS concert streamed. Twice we asked for the volume to be lifted only to be told different stories every time. How is it that we can watch a movie with loud bass and surround sound – but for these concerts there are a few speakers working down beside the screen? We could hear people wrestling chip potato packets and chatting. To say it was disappointing is an absolute understatement. It was an huge letdown to myself, the people I went with, the Performance; and doesn’t really deserve to be called a concert. My sound bar at home would have done a better job. Who is in charge of the audio. If the manager can’t help then who can? If you were thinking about going to one of these events – buyer beware. You will go there expecting great atmosphere and energy with great audio, only to hear audio through a couple of speakers down the front of the screen. And no one is capable of turning the volume up. Why on earth would you pay nearly $50 for this ticket? One star event cinemas.
On Friday night I went to the movies to watch the new MJ movie. I was greeted by a lovely young lady called Abbie. She was very happy to help me and made my movie experience so positive!! I strongly recommend coming into the Indro Event Cinemas, it was so clean and pleasant!
Had an awesome experience here in Gold Class with the mrs on Valentine’s Day. Great service and real comfy chairs to enjoy the movie.
