Hello team,nI visited the Gold Class cinema last Saturday at around 12:45 pm to watch The Housemaid. Even though it looked very busy at the time, a male Asian staff member at the counter apologies if this description sounds rude was incredibly kind and welcoming. He provided excellent service, and even after the movie ended, he kindly saw us off, which really made my day.nnThe food and drinks we ordered were also delicious. I wanted to compliment this staff member but wasn’t sure how, so I decided to leave this Google review instead. Thank you for making my day such a pleasant one!

Going to Gold Class is normally always a great experience for me but last night I went to watch Avatar 3 and paid for a package deal which came with a beverage which i did not receive. I too work in hospitality so I understand sometimes your hands/serving tray is full or sometimes you just forget which is why I reminded the server that I hadn’t received my beverage which then he said he will check. By the time my dessert came out I still hadn’t received it so I asked the server again if I could get my beverage which was suppose to come out on the 1st round of drop offs. The movie ended and I didn’t receive my beverage at all. I was very disappointed with the lack of service in that situation as I had already paid for it and of course did not want to leave the movie to check at the bar. I normally am very understanding but Gold Class is one of my fav things to do and it’s always been great except last night.

This cinema stinks literally. Strong mouldy, dusty smell throughout. We left before the movie started because it was unbearable and asked for a refund.nnFor the price of tickets and food, this is unacceptable. Won’t be back!!

I visited the Gold Class cinema this morning, and honestly, the experience was quite uncomfortable. The male staff member at the counter — he looked to be in his mid-20s, with darkish hair and wearing a really strong, almost overwhelming perfume — behaved in a way that was completely unprofessional.nnFrom the moment I arrived, he kept making flirtatious comments and winking at me, even when it was clear I wasn’t engaging back. When he brought over my food and drinks, he repeatedly said things like “Here you go, darling” and winked again. What might have seemed like harmless flirting to him actually made me feel extremely uncomfortable, especially given my own past experiences.nnIt got worse when I asked to speak to a manager about his behaviour. He smirked and told me that he was the manager and that he could “take care of me in more ways than one.” He then offered me a free drink if I would stay quiet about the situation. At that point, I felt extremely uncomfortable and decided to leave immediately.nnI go to the movies to relax, not to feel uneasy or disrespected. The way this staff member behaved was inappropriate and made what should’ve been an enjoyable outing quite upsetting. This cinema is honestly lucky I’m not taking the matter further, because behaviour like that shouldn’t be ignored — especially in a professional setting where customers deserve to feel safe and respected.

I actually think there is a health hazard here, cinema 5 smelt like mould. Very disgusting, this should be addressed. There are multiple reviews from other patrons stating this to, that seem to be ignored? Will never be back, if we do end up unwell from this I’ll be taking it further than just a review. Children and elderly who are vulnerable come to these places. Do better. Clean your cinema.
