I visited the Gold Class cinema this morning, and honestly, the experience was quite uncomfortable. The male staff member at the counter — he looked to be in his mid-20s, with darkish hair and wearing a really strong, almost overwhelming perfume — behaved in a way that was completely unprofessional.nnFrom the moment I arrived, he kept making flirtatious comments and winking at me, even when it was clear I wasn’t engaging back. When he brought over my food and drinks, he repeatedly said things like “Here you go, darling” and winked again. What might have seemed like harmless flirting to him actually made me feel extremely uncomfortable, especially given my own past experiences.nnIt got worse when I asked to speak to a manager about his behaviour. He smirked and told me that he was the manager and that he could “take care of me in more ways than one.” He then offered me a free drink if I would stay quiet about the situation. At that point, I felt extremely uncomfortable and decided to leave immediately.nnI go to the movies to relax, not to feel uneasy or disrespected. The way this staff member behaved was inappropriate and made what should’ve been an enjoyable outing quite upsetting. This cinema is honestly lucky I’m not taking the matter further, because behaviour like that shouldn’t be ignored — especially in a professional setting where customers deserve to feel safe and respected.
absolutely versatile. got 2 tickets to see the bad guys with my friend and as we walked into the cinema we smelt this good awful stench reeking in through the walls and seeping from under the carpeted floors, went to go sit down and i see this group of kids with their popcorn and drinks sit down near me. movie is about to start and they start THROWING popcorn at eachother and it got EVERYWHERE!! and i mean EVERYWHERE! a piece even managed to fall into my lovely friends drink. almost went to go gag those children myself, when all of a sudden i see a flash… i didnt know what to think, was it the paparazzi? thunder? bathrooms blowing up? but no. it was those grotty, repugnant children taking “selfies” at the back. if you can even CALL those selfies!! they had dumped all the popcorn on their head and shoved pieces of it in their mouth and nose. disgusting!! almost threw up my bag of salt & vinegar chips, slushie, water, popcorn and family size bag of snakes. might i add.. they were being VERY inappropriate, doing such vulgar and inexPLAINABLE titoks. when they got kicked out, smelt like pee in the back. did someone have an accident?
Was served by this very rude young lady last night in Gold class. It was the one with tattoos on her arms.nHad the worst attitude ever, Didn’t smile at us once, obviously has no customer experience. This child should not be customer facing. Needs more training to understand how to treat customers. The world isn’t this miserable honey, put a smile on your face for once in your life. You’ve got it easy, you work at a cinema
Cinema stinks so badly that I walked straight out again. Smells disgusting. Seats uncomfortable. Self-serve ticket machines don't work. Severely understaffed. 1 person on the counter, super slow. I counted 15 people waiting. A standard ticket is $23.00nNo way!nnThe 1 star reviews are accurate and aptly rated.nnAbysmal!
I can only speak to the experience I had but it wasn't amazing. The theatre seats were old with rips and limited leg room. Not comfortable for extended movie length.nMovie overall normal with decent sound but definitely needs an upgrade.nTheatres like this should not charge full price as the difference to quality experience is enormous.
