Was served by this very rude young lady last night in Gold class. It was the one with tattoos on her arms.nHad the worst attitude ever, Didn’t smile at us once, obviously has no customer experience. This child should not be customer facing. Needs more training to understand how to treat customers. The world isn’t this miserable honey, put a smile on your face for once in your life. Paying $49 for two tickets, you would expect a modern cinema, especially being events. The instant smell of mould when you walk in is insane. Literally the same carpet since 1998. The same as the old casino. The chairs are old and worn and uncomfortable. Add a popcorn and 2 drinks and it’s an $80 visit. I’d rather support the small independent cinemas. Definitely try another cinema.
Cinema stinks so badly that I walked straight out again. Smells disgusting. Seats uncomfortable. Self-serve ticket machines don't work. Severely understaffed. 1 person on the counter, super slow. I counted 15 people waiting. A standard ticket is $23.00nNo way!nnThe 1 star reviews are accurate and aptly rated.nnAbysmal!
My husband has been really excited to see 28 years later for months. We have two small children so it took a lot of effort and organisation to make it to the cinema at all. We didn't end up seeing the movie because the cashier sold us tickets to the wrong movie and sent us to the wrong theater. We sat through 30 mins of ads for nothing. We got a refund for the tickets but not the drink we purchased for the movie because we drank some of it. The drink was part of the experience we didn't get to have due to staff member's error. This way it feels like we paid $10 to watch a bunch od ads. The staff was rude and not apologetic. What a great first date night we've had in a year. Utterly disappointed and devastated.
Old and stinkynBit grossnTime for a renovationnCan’t believe how much they charge to sit in a mould infestation for 2 hours to watch a movie. There are way better options around, reading jindalee. And the price they charge for popcorn and drinks is absolutely absurd
