Everything worked well only tiny thing was that the screen deflated over time but really minor issue. Really helpful, great customer service. Will definitely recommend.
Not worth the cost, hired the 3.5m cinema and the projector was horrible quality, a cheap bluetooth speaker sounded better then speakers provided speakers provided sounded extremely awful and the inflatable screen was pretty cool tbh but had to be toped up every 30 minutes. My experience with the staff however was extremely positive, the guy who come around and set it up/collected was very professional/punctual and well mannered.
We hired the cinema for my sister 13th birthday and for a first time hire we started off with some technical issues but they were resolved. We were very impressed with the quality of the equipment. Would recommend Backyard cinema hire.
Do not expect to hear from these people after they have been paid. A DVD that was not ours was left in the machine when they collected the set up. If it was ours I would have just written off but I thought a quick phone call would let me know if they had it. Also I would have assumed it was their practice to check the machine before they took it away. I could have been told this if they bothered to return one of my 3 phone messages or 2 emails over the course of 4 weeks! The fact that no-one EVER answers the phone in person worried me a bit before I hired them but now I know why. They screen their calls and will only call you back if they want to get a booking or some money out of you but once that has happened expect to be ignored.
Completely unreliable. Service was booked 2 months in advance for a hens party and payment was made over the phone. During this phone call, time of the party was given and we were told everything would be set up well in advance. Following this, no further correspondence was made by the company leading up to the week of the party. They had not replied to emails or phone calls with voicemails left asking to call back in the 4 days leading up to the hens party until 2 days before saying they didnt have any booking details and would try and find them. They then called the day before the party saying they would deliver it just 1 hour before the start time of the party. Once saturday the day of the Hens party came up, we were waiting for delivery and NOTHING. They did not even deliver the projector or screen and we had to go out and buy a projector last minute just before the party started. After all this, we had to chase up ourselves for a refund and they had the audacity to still charge us the booking fee!
I could not recommend Backyard Cinema Hire enough! Our school’s P&F hosted a Movie Night under the Stars and Backyard Cinema Hire took care of everything which made organising such an event wonderfully simple. The popcorn, slushies and beanbag hire topped off our event perfectly and were a big hit with all of our guests. A big thank you to Ben and Kelsey, your professionalism and help with our event did not go unnoticed. We will definitely be using your company again for our future events.

I had a great experience! the booking online was really simple, they turned up when they said they would, and the cinema screen was fantastic. I'd recommend them wholeheartedly
Great experience from start to end. Reliable and excellent customer service experience. Would recommend to friends and can't wait to have another cinema experience in our backyard!
