Have visited Dendy Cinemas at Portside Wharf in Brisbane several times and had a good overall experience. It’s a great cinema if you’re looking for something a bit more relaxed compared to the bigger chains. The location at Portside Wharf is perfect, with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, so it’s easy to make a night out of it.nnI usually go there on a Tuesday and the half-price movie tickets are definitely worth it great value if you’re trying to save money. They also have a rewards program with popcorn deals and other perks, which helps because the regular food and drink prices especially popcorn are quite expensive.nnThe cinema itself was clean, comfortable and not too crowded. The seats were good and the overall atmosphere felt quieter and more premium than most cinemas in Brisbane.nnParking was super convenient too, you can get free parking when you watch a movie, just remember to validate your ticket at the counter after your session.nnOverall, a really good cinema experience in Brisbane, just don’t expect luxury cinema. I’d definitely come back, especially for the Tuesday deals
Such a friendly team, who will always find the best seats for you!nMondays are great- make sure you are a member, and the rewards and perks will come back tenfold!nYou can even take an adult beverage into the cinema, which is so fabulous
the young man with the highlights has the best most positive attitude and was cracking jokes the whole time, i laughed so hard i peed a little don’t tell him that though. good thing the cinema bathroom are just down the stairs. he made my cinema experience a great one will be back soon for another vodka cruiser.
Riley and sage were absolutely amazing. They were so lovely. They assisted with all our inquiries and provided the best service. Would be definitely be back just to see them again they definitely make your cinema experience 100/10. Thank you!!
Went to Dendy at Portside and honestly, the whole team was incredible—friendly, efficient, and just a really good vibe all round. BUT… we need to talk about Gabby.nnGabby deserves her own standing ovation, a plaque, possibly a small statue in the foyer. Absolute superstar. So warm, so welcoming, and just effortlessly lovely—it felt like being greeted by the VIP host of the century. If customer service were an Olympic sport, she’d be taking home gold.nnGenuinely made the whole experience better. Total asset to the place—protect Gabby at all costs.nnWill 100% be back
