My partner and I recently enjoyed our first experience with the 4Dx Jurassic World Rebirth in 3D, and it was both fun and epic. Food and beverages are available on a self-service basis.

Its a big space.nIt seems like a very impersonal but once in the cinema, its easy to get comfy and enjoy the whole movie experience.

Update: I have since been contacted by Helen, the Area Manager, and I honestly can’t speak highly enough of her. She’s everything you hope to find in customer service — empathetic, genuine, and proactive. Helen listened, took ownership, and actually wanted to resolve my concerns rather than just tick a box. If you ever have an issue, skip the bureaucracy and reach out to her directly. Bravo, HelennnBring gloves — you’ll need them!nnDropped into Event Cinemas for what I hoped would be a relaxing movie — instead got front-row seats to a live TikTok feed. Eight teenage girls squealing, giggling, climbing over seats, and taking flash selfies every two minutes. I made it about half an hour before surrendering.nnAsked for a refund and was told I’d need my ticket — which I had already binned. Enter Emily, the duty manager, who appeared for all of sixty seconds, told me to go dig it out, then vanished and left a young team member to dive through the rubbish with me. Outstanding example of “leadership in action.”nnSpent more time loitering by the bins than in the theatre. On the bright side, I can now tick “dig through a public bin at Event Cinemas” off the bucket list.

Great Popcorn! Even a popcorn machine where you can get it yourself. I just booked a basic cinema ticket, next time I would definitely add on the comfort of the premium tickets with comfy chairs.

Wow. Seriously the worst cinema experience ever. From the outside the cinema looks great but wow what a change once you get in. The smell in cinema 4 was disgusting. Half the seats squeak with the slightest movement. Not sure if they forgot aircon but it was so hot in there and it's not even a hot day outside. Every time someone would move they would squeak. The cleaner guy didn't seem to care when we mentioned it.nnPrices for popcorn and drinks are ridiculous compared to what I pay back home. No decent combos and the popcorn is pre-boxed. So who knows how long it was sitting there for but my guess would be all day as it was stale.nnUpon leaving my review, I've noticed many 1 star reviews.nnDo yourself a favour and go elsewhere.
