There are a few restaurants such as The Exhibitionist Bar 5F, Palette 1F, Monday, Tuesday closed.nThe view of Surfers Paradise buildings seen from The Exhibitionist Bar is quite magnificent.nBesides, if you park for under 1hr 53min, you won’t get charged.nHowever, there are some restrictions if you enter the gallery. For example, backpacks are not allowed if you enter the gallery.
Extravagant Facility with tidy amenities.nNicely air conditioned on a warm summer’s day.nnThe Exhibitionist Bar and Viewing Platform were Stunning.nnThere weren’t any Art Installations that really Inspired me, apart from the Surfers Paradise Nostalgia Exhibition.nnThe Whole Experience was Completely Ruined by Tommy Taters Parking Parasites !!nnIn a Near Empty Parking Lot on a Weekend Morning. I walked back to my car to find a parking ticket for $108 !!nnThat Is Deplorable !!nnWas Not Even Aware that Parking Fees Applied for the Weekend !!nnNo Wonder the Gallery was as Empty as the Car Park !!nnCouncil Needs a Rethink on Charging for Parking - Especially on Weekends !!nnI Have Absolutely NO Idea, How Those Parking C…. Sleep at Night !!nKnowing That Their Sole Purpose IS To Ruin Someone’s Day !!nnUntil It Is Free Parking on The Weekend, I WON’T Be Returning !!
The gallery part of Hota is gorgeous! Such cool architecture of the building Melbourne designer I was told. Unfortunately when i went it was in between exhibitions but I still managed to see the Josephine Ulrick and Win Schubert Photography Award 2024. The Exhibitionist bar on the top with their exhibition inspired cocktails is a must visit!
Really nice spot to go for a swim with the kids. They have a farmers market every Sunday. It was vibrant and had something for everyone - it's very expensive though!nnThe toilets were clean, plenty of picnic spots by the river and there's also a public barbecue area.nnThe HOTA cafe was really nice too.
It was very relaxing and heaps of things to do with the family. You can do picnic outside and then the painting gallery is awesome! This is free of charge and you get to see cool paintings. Spend at least an hour and a half here to appreciate. The architecture of the building is worth the photos. With souvenir shops. Suggest have a picnic near the lake, then pack up, go to the gallery and you have a complete family day.
