ABOUT THE GOLD COAST TURF CLUB
The Gold Coast Turf Club is renowned as one of Australia’s most prestigious horse racing and entertainment venues, located just 5 minutes from Surfers Paradise.

The Club hosts over 58 race meetings each year, racing almost every Saturday, and plays host to major carnivals and feature racedays including Magic Millions Raceday, Australia’s richest raceday.

New corporate suites, luxurious bars, lounges and dining areas give our corporate partners the opportunity to impress their guests in highly functional and elegant function spaces.

EVENT CENTRE
Located within the Gold Coast Turf Club precinct the 2,500 square metre venue is an impressive structure that can host over 2,000 guests and possesses spectacular Gold Coast skyline panoramic views reaching from Main Beach to Burleigh. Conferences & Events 7 days a week, raceday and non raceday packages available.

ATTENDANCE
We attract 3,000 raceday patrons every week including the general public, GCTC Members and their guests, function attendees, corporate guests and sponsors.

SPENT THE DAY IN THE FINE DINING RESTAURANT PRIVATE AREA CELEBRATING A FRIENDS 50th. I cannot compliment the Chefs and Service Staff highly enough. The view of the racecourse was truly spectacular- uninterrupted views of the parading ring, the entire course and we sat right on the finishing line in air conditioned comfort being truly pampered by first class service from 11am to 6pm. Talk about value for money. OMG. It was as fine a dining experience as I’ve ever had. There was not a moment when we had to wait for a drink. Our food was delivered perfectly - seven course set menu which I can still remember because it was one of the best meals I have had in 2025, by far. We had our own table, our own little TV for watching interstate racing and the absolute perfect view of GC racing. We all won, except for the Birthday Boy , but we shouted his day and his accommodation and we all had the best day ever. Cannot recommend this experience highly enough - even if you don’t know much about racing. It was super high energy fun, superb food and drink and service and gorgeous surrounds. I have been to racecourses all over Australia and this was truly the best Raceday experience I have had anywhere. I cannot wait to make up an excuse to go back!
Went to Skyline restaurant as a member for Melbourne Cup Day. Seated in a corner, hard to get to, especially for wait staff.nPaid for premium package, didn't realise it included gym membership for upper body. All the waving, signalling quite a work out.nMain meal not delivered to our table until 3 o'clock. Cup ran at 2 o'clock Qld time. Meals cold and presentation was poor.nComplained to wait staff. Offered a new meal at 315. You kidding!nTerrible effort from this establishment.
We had such a fantastic experience at the Turf Club on Melbourne Cup Day, all thanks to Nicki! After a really disappointing time at another venue earlier in the day, Nicki absolutely turned things around for us. She went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after, and her warm, friendly attitude made all the difference. The service was impeccable, the atmosphere was great, and Nicki made us feel genuinely welcome. Couldn’t have asked for a better way to spend the day — thank you, Nicki, for saving our Cup Day!
Visiting for the Greenlife expo. The venue was clean but I did notice the black curtains around the roof where all tucked up and untidy
Great day out & very good value for money. Would highly recommend the Gallery.
