Although our local cinema and good to see latest movies, the place has been in need of fixing up for years. The toilets don't ever seem to be attended to between sessions. Staff are always pleasant and helpful. At $8 movie prices for pensioners, we certainly can't afford to buy popcorn,drinks etc so we take our own. Pleased to report last weeks visit toilets were spotless!
Very good cinema. Huge screens, awesome sound, not crowded. Quite clean and has a great feel to it. And you can't go wrong with those massage chairs out in the foyer!
2 stars off for lacsidasical staff & the cinema STINKS of mould, mustiness & pee! $10 for large popcorn- why?! This stuff costs zilch to make. Cheap tix tho, good parking, inside shopping centre so lots do do after movie. Just not clean & fresh so it's not comfortable. Put yer nose in your expensive popcorn & breathe deep.
Good theatre..... Only complaint is why so many kids movies in the holidays... They outnumber the movies for adults... Not all of us have children.. How about an even mix......
It's a spacious and comfortable set of theatres where we've enjoyed many films over the years. Everyone knows that snacks at a movie theatre are costly, complaining about prices in that venue seems pointless.
Well presented. Staff always helpful. A bit pricey like all Event Cinemas if you don't have their cinebuzz club card. Food and drink prices are ridiculous. Cineplex in the are is far cheaper with just as good or better cinemas. If you are used to only going to Event Cinemas then this 5 stars. But if you are familiar with Cineplex at Victoria Pt or their other locations then Event can't compete on price or comfy chairs.
The Cinema does not always get the latest movie's showing, the young staff really need to be trained a bit more, in saying that they are friendly and helpful enough. If your a member the ticket's are only $9.00 so that's awesome value and a nice outing for a few hours out.
Very enjoyable movie Avitar - The way of water though we were the only 2 patrons in the theater.
Great facility but they need to check the sound levels or keep rhe window up the back securely closed as it rattled through most of the movie during louder scenes.
Cheap tickets and friendly young staff. Isn't the newest, and is run with minimal staff, but I much rather awesome ticket prices than 3 times the price.
