Beautiful gold class cinemas. The lounge area is a great place to relax before the movie. The recliner seats in the cinema are wide and comfortable which is great for a long movie. Food options are quite good and reasonably priced for this type of experience. Our food was good but nothing amazing. Highly recommend going during a week day before 5pm, as you can get a discount from full price as Cinebuzz member.
We took our 4 year old granddaughter to watch Guess how much I love you! I was absolutely disgusted! 30 minutes of ads blasting out much too loudly and with nothing to interest the children in the theatre. How on earth do they think toddlers can sit waiting for that long whilst being assaulted by noise I could barely stand? I’ll never go back there!
Gold class area was nice. Seating inside was good, clean & comfortable. Staff didn't really look like they wanted to be there, slow delivery of food & drinks. I also found it quite expensive for what you get - a larger seat that reclines, less people in the cinema & table service. $92 for 2 people to enter.
Sorry thought the Wicked premiere was a rip off. Had to pay $45 for what? Didn't recieve a goody bag or complimentary drink like other cinemas were offering.
I would give zero stars if I could, bought gold class tickets for my wife and I for Valentines day at Carindale QLD. She was ill so we tried to reschedule, she was still ill for the rescheduled session, at this point we discovered you can't change again, there is no one to speak to on the phone and the idiot that answered our email refuses to help I lost $100 and I will never use Event Cinemas again. Thanks for nothing!
