I was so excited to see this movie as I've loved anything dinosaurs since i knew they HAD existed!!we did goldclass..the seats were a bit worn but comfortable never the less..my son's rather tall so he felt they didn't recline as much to offer some of us tallies some comfort!!They botched up when we wanted our drinks,the food came out though still not in the order we'd have liked,some of the menu was unavailable!! All in all i would of been happy with normal seating and eating popcorn maybe with a beer or cider!!Gold class didn't do it for me on this occasion at!!
I had a good time here but people kept walking into the cinema throughout the entire movie that weren't there at the beginning. Pretty sure they just walked straight through without paying or came from another cinema once one movie had finished to see another for free. There is no staff anywhere to check tickets anymore so people can just walk into any cinema without paying to see the movie or once one movie finishes just go to another for a free movie which is pretty frustrating for those who do the right thing and pay for a ticket. Also because there is no staff to check if people bought tickets people with bad intentions or even weapons can enter the theatre more easily, It doesn't feel safe.
Bought two Gold Class tickets plus an additional $223.70 in food on top as our main date of the year the Ultimate date package plus some extras, including the Avatar 2 merch drinks. Unfortunately they forgot to give us our mains until deserts were being served so we only had 40 minutes to eat out of the 3 hour Avatar 2 movie. Ultimately they refunded $25 of the food and gave us free tickets as compensation. Despite the negative food experience the rest was top notch.
Took my daughter and 7 of her friends there today for her birthday, the staff were all fantastic.. especially the shift managers I dealt with when booking and on the actual movie day. When I went to purchase the tickets earlier in the week, I was informed that they could set up a little party area & was offered a party/movie/combo deal. I did not realise this was even a thing there! So glad I booked it.. all the kids and parents loved it… made it a very easy to organise birthday treat! Many thanks guys!! 5*
Paid gold class tickets, chairs were dirty and they need a clean down the sides, pizza $25 tasted like I was just eatting onion jam dough was under cooked, Ice cream cone was soft and soggy. Toilets are disgusting by the lobby. $130 night out would not recommend!!
Terrible experience in Gold class just yesterday. Paid a huge amount for food to be delivered throughout the movie but received it all at once except the chees platter 5 minutes into the movie. The meal was wrong n not what we had ordered and could not eat it all at once so as we tried to work our way through it the meal was cold and horrible . They also got one of our drinks wrong. Then they delivered the cheese platter towards the end and just handed it to me as our table was over packed with plates with no space. They didn't take any of the plates when they left so we just had to hold the platter n eat off it. The light on the table was also broken so couldn't even see the food. Over all horrible experience and noone addressed any of it even after a complaint email I would not recommend this cinema
This used to be a great cinema. It's still good esp as it's our closest, so it's our local. However, unfortunately in recent times the cleanliness standard has decreased. Twice in a row now months apart, we have arrived to our seats to find them covered in popcorn from what we assume was the previous movie! Actually, the worst part was the first time we did not realise we were sitting in someone else's popcorn until we stood up after the movie! Ew! Perhaps they need more employees, but someone else's popcorn over our seat we can let go once, but twice in a row? No thank you. We definitely saw someone walk in to clean after our session, so how can it be that popcorn very obviously spilt over seats can be missed? If that has happened to us twice months apart, how often does it actually happen? We should not have to first check our seat before we sit down in a cinema but it appears this is what we now have to start doing. Also, as we are honest people we buy our tickets, however, we wonder how many people waltz in and see films for free, considering no one has been on the door checking tickets and I mean no one to be seen anywhere at all on at least these past two occasions. Hopefully the cleanliness standards will return someday soon as when we fork out that much money for a ticket, we are led to believe we will at least be able to sit in a clean seat. Once the formerly clean standards return, we would be happy to upgrade this star rating. We went there a couple of days ago, my wife found a $50 not in the candy bar line, we asked the two groups of people in front of us to see if they had dropped it, both groups said no, this is the bit that was unsettling for us, as the woman behind the counter saw my wife asking if they had dropped it, asked for the note so they can look after it until someone claimed it, after receiving the note she put it in her pocket and didn't ask for our details or anything just proceeded to serve us like there was no note at all, I asked her what happens if it is not claimed her response was simply I don't know. We walked away feeling uneasy about this, so I spoke to another lady regarding the note who also worked there and she took our details and said after the movie come see them, so we did , the note was still not claimed and said well they might be watching another movie that hasn't finished yet, let's face it generally you loose a note you cut your losses and I really hope the right person claimed it, I just thought it was all shades of dodgy, when she put the note in her pocket and no details were taken and no other staff was contacted about this matter when it was fist reported
First time we went there we ordered our meal to come out beginning of the movie as we were hungry. We did pay for the the first dates menu so it wasn't cheap. We waited as the movie was 1hr and 30 minutes in. They eventually brought our meal out. But today just topped it for us we thought we would try again hoping that it was just pure bad luck. But once again we ordered popcorn and 2 soft drinks to come out straight away. 1hr and 20 minutes we were still waiting. I had to once again leave my movie and walk to the counter. When I got there I asked that we were still waiting for our popcorn. They apologised and said they would bring it out. When they came out they just brought the popcorn and I had to give them my receipt of purchase to tell them they were missing 2 drinks. Omg!!!!! my order didn't even go through. When ordering get them to repeat the order and make sure it goes through. We won't be back again!!!!!! Not for that price and bad customer service
My 5yr old son has autism and trying to find sensory based events is very difficult. I attended the sensory session today 31/07/22 with my 2 children a friend and her autistic child and reading the description of it we thought it would be a great experience in a non judgemental environment with other children with special needs and parents/carers in similar situations. Well we copped death stares and whispers and felt very uncomfortable so we left after 30mins. These other families attending didn't have children with additional needs which makes me suspect they only wanted the cheaper pricing. It's very hard to arrange outings that meet our children's needs, it was just like being in a standard cinema having people annoyed at you for your kids disrupting their movie which is exactly what the information said wouldn't happen. Please take in to account families like ours and in the future make sure that other families aren't just scamming for the cheaper tickets, I mean what did they expect booking in for a sensory session?then again our children were the only ones present with disabilities so why were we made to feel like the outsiders?
