Overall, our stay was great. The location of the hotel was convenient, but we were quite frustrated by the blocked roads, which made it difficult for guests to access the hotel and park for check-in. That said, the rooms were clean and very comfortable.nnA special mention goes to Ahmed, who greeted us warmly upon arrival. I had been in contact with him prior to our stay, and he was incredibly helpful and friendly. He assisted us with our luggage and went above and beyond to provide clear directions around the roadblocks. His welcoming attitude really stood out.nnUnfortunately, the same can't be said for some staff member. Sonam who's based at the front desk, appeared quite unhappy and disengaged every morning when we walk past reception. It felt as though she didn’t want to interact with guests, which was disappointing and not what you'd expect from a front-of-house team member.nnIn general, my communication with the hotel aside from Ahmed felt rather terse and impersonal. Ahmed was the highlight of our experience—his professionalism and warmth made a big difference.
Stayed here for work. Staff very polite, friendly and welcoming, and took the time to explain a few different things about my stay. I found them considerably more helpful than many other places I have stayed. Room was functional and neat and very quiet. Location was also really good, nice and close to the river and a few places to eat. Just a couple of little things that stop me giving it five stars - I was on a lower level so even with a balcony my room faced the brick side of another building in a U-shape so there was absolutely no air flow, even with the balcony door wide open. And of course no view, as expected. There was a well used towel from the previous guest in my room when I checked in but the staff removed it immediately when asked. There were also a couple of times when the aircon sort of shut down, and wouldn't let me turn it on. Overall it was a good stay and I would return if in this part of Perth.
We recently stayed at Quest Apartments on Adelaide Terrace, and overall had a great experience. The building itself is beautiful – a stunning old church that’s been thoughtfully converted. It’s a unique and charming exterior that stands out, but finding the entrance can be a little tricky from the street. Parking is around the back and also a bit hard to locate at first. Once parked, you need to exit the same gate you drive through and walk down the street to access reception. Just a tip – if you leave your clicker in the car, there’s a button on the wall to get out.nnThe staff were friendly and helpful, which made check-in smooth. Our room was lovely – a one-bedroom apartment that included one of the few balconies available. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on, but was OK.nFacilities are solid. The gym is well equipped with weight gear, dumbbells, a rower and treadmill. It is pretty crammed in though. The laundry is also on level 1. There are also rooms available for hire if you’re planning meetings or events. One of the highlights is the rooftop bar – a great space to unwind, serving pizzas and entrée-style food. We found it peaceful and quiet at night, which was a bonus for a city stay.nnWe’d definitely consider staying again – just be prepared for a bit of a puzzle when you first arrive!
Overall it was a good and pleasant stay. Location wise is decent and convenient 17 to 20 mins walk to central locations. Room size is good and spacious for one to two people.nnWould have given 5 stars if not for the lack of customer service from the front desk counter staff named Gigi. During check-in and check-out she displayed a hostile and unpleasant facial reaction towards me despite my greetings towards her. A 'stuck up attitude' is what would be described about this staff, probably due to her odd usage of sitting next to the computer screen in extremely close proximity, which causes her lack of professionalism.nnOther than that, the rest of the front desk staff were great and very friendly, especially Rafael and the new staff in Training the one who wore the Training name tag. I would recommend this hotel if you are deciding to stay in Perth.
Enjoying most of our stay there we decided to finish it of at the rooftop Bar. Going up there and we get told that we cannot enter because they have 2 private functions. I called reception who said the functions finished an hour ago but the people decided to stay up there, and I should have made a booking, yet when I went to look at it earlier I got told they are not taking bookings just walk in. Extremely disappointed that hotel guests can't even use the facilities that are included in the price of staying there.
