Just 4 bus stops away from Perth city center, so it a good location to stay. Some of the rooms are facing the Swan lake which is so beautiful and serene. I just love looking out of the window whenever I'm allocated a room facing it. The rooms are clean and quiet. The front office hotel staff are great. Unfortunately some of the Monterey staff needs to improve on their service skill and attentiveness.

We booked a club room. Cant complain. Lovely big room. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was a great size with plenty of toiletries. Club lounge was easy to get to and was great. Would stay again.

Impeccable service from the moment I arrived until departure. Rooms beautiful and very clean. Little things like coffee and tea in foyer go a long way. Best hotel I have stayed at in a very long time.

Perfect, could not fault. Executive rooms well equipped and comfortable bed. Buffet breakfast was great. Only con was valet parking charge a bit overpriced. Will stay there again.

The room was so dusty, my fingers were dirty after touching things like the lamp, clock, desk, everything. The shower head sucks and leaks into the bath which has a door between them and the shower also needs a good clean, as the rest of the room too. The window to the outside is so grubby I couldn't even take a photo out the window. The pillows were a joke, put your head on them and all the stuffing moved so only the pillowcase was between you and the mattress, at one point I woke up panicked because the pillow had moved to cover my mouth and nose, I asked for two new pillows and they were no better. The hall outside my room smelt like wet dog. The pool is on the lower level in the shadow most of the day and is the size of a back yard pool. If you want to stay in the city, stay at Mercury, it's cheaper and nicer, the pool is in the sun most of the day, it's on the roof and it has a spa.
