This was our first time away without children in over 20 years. We usually stay in lower budget, family friendly accommodation, but for this trip we really wanted somewhere quiet so we could properly enjoy our time without the kids. We searched high and low, reading reviews, and eventually called the Pan Pacific to ask if we could book an extra quiet room. They did not disappoint.nFor six nights we never heard a sound. It felt like we were in a private retreat. The room was beautiful and the views even more so. The service was fantastic, and we especially appreciated the aluminium refillable drink bottles and the wonderful scent in the lobby. While it is a top class hotel, nothing felt pretentious. It was modern, warm, and genuinely welcoming, and the location was perfect.nWe had a car and found free overnight parking easy to find, and we also loved walking the length and breadth of the city. We only wish it was not so expensive to travel between NZ and Perth, or we would be back regularly to relax and unwind.
The room are really nice , spacious , modern , well designed. Unfortunatly the door closing is not soft and you keep hearing constant door closing from the corridor . Location is not too bad about 20 min walk from city center or free bus to commute to the center. The food breakfast , dinner was poor quality and bad value for money imo. The buffet breakfast was made of cheap pastry and tastless fruit. The coffee stand was very good in opposition. The dinner offering is very rich and also use poor quality ingredients and it shows when the meal arrives. That being said you are 5/ 10 min walks from various nice restaurants and café so it is not a big issue. The staff is top notch, very welcoming , very helpfull. It is a very nice hotel to discover Perth
Was a really nice stay here, stayed for my birthday, front desk was very friendly and gave an extra drink voucher to use at the bar as a birthday treat.nThe room was very nice, updated, Bed was super comfy, my partner normally prefers a firmer mattress while I like the softer kind and we where both extremely comfortable.nBreakfast was great with a big variety to choose from, the omelette bar was a big highlight.nThe only slight negative I have to say is the late night room service is very lacking.nOtherwise everything else was top notchnAnd would recommend and stay again
We decided to give it another try and were pleasantly surprised. Right from the lady at check-in to the very caring manager, Rohan, everything has changed. The rooms after renovation are very good, and the overall feel and vibe throughout the property has completely changed. It is also good that the breakfast area floor has been changed to a single level, making it more comfortable. Breakfast, however, can be improved. Overall, it was a very good experience, and we are happy we tried again. Thank you for making our stay and check-in very pleasant.
Took awhile to write this review BUT We could not forget the wonderful experience where we spent the week last November at Pan Pac Perth. The location was great - stone throw away from CBD area and the view amazing. The staffs were friendly and helpful. They remembered our names especially Esaias who took extra effort to watch out for our little one and we always have a good chat. Highly recommend especially for family with young kids!
