We recently hosted the Shaukat Khanum Fundraising Event at Daxton Hotel, and I cannot speak highly enough of the entire experience.nnFrom start to finish, everything was exceptionally well managed and organised. The ambience of the venue was elegant and welcoming, creating the perfect setting for a meaningful fundraising evening. The food was outstanding — beautifully presented, delicious, and consistently high quality throughout the event.nnWhat truly set Daxton apart was the hospitality and professionalism of the team. From top management to the staff on the floor and those serving the food, every single person was attentive, courteous, and genuinely invested in making the event a success. The team was always on their toes, ready to assist with anything we needed, and whatever we asked for was handled promptly and with a smile.nnThe level of customer service was exceptional — supportive, proactive, and seamless. It made a huge difference and allowed us to focus on the purpose of the event, knowing we were in very capable hands.nnA heartfelt thank you to the entire Daxton team for going above and beyond. Highly recommended for events, hospitality, and an overall outstanding experience. We truly appreciate your support.
Lovely service by the staff whom I rang directly to organise an immediate check in room on the morning of my stay. They had a room ready immediately, the check in process was fast and trouble free. Staff were lovely. In room dining was surprisingly good. Room is very cheap, for the price you would not expect such a well maintained and spacious room. The entire hotel feels brand new and like it has been under used given the immaculate condition. Lovely place, will stay again.
The room was nice and the foxtel was a nice touch, but this is not a hotel that will go above and beyond for you in any way. They seem to be running the business just for the sake of it without any love for the industry. Went there for my wife's birthday to which they were informed, and at no point did they wish her a happy birthday, put a card in the room, anything, some effort would have been nice and i would have been more than willing to pay for it, though was never offered. After having stayed at the likes of Hilton, Intercontinental, Kempinski, I found it very lacklustre.
5 star prices with 2 star service. Requested interconnecting rooms as travelling with 2x kids. Checked in and door between rooms locked. Phone in main room not working. Had to wait for staff to open interconnecting door and they then had no door stop to keep the common door open. Left as in room 2, door slammed in then locked in room 2. Had to again wait. Notified concierge night before of check out to arrange for car to be ready as had early flight. Got downstairs and not ready. Again waited. Additional charges are thick and heavy for their services, however we are expected to disregard regular discrepancies on our end. Staff need to up their manner. Noticed no greeting to customers entering and exiting hotel. Ordered cocktails by the pool which were made beautifully and delivered professionally. Probably the only highlight. Also ordered overpriced cheese platter which was dull and underwhelming.
Such a beautiful hotel. The rooms were really clean and the bathroom was modern and spacious. Amazing and well used by us touch having a filtered water tap! Only fault I had with the rooms was the pillows - every pillow in our room was awful, would've been better off sleeping on a pile of clothes. Yes, there is a pillow menu but by the time I got to bed 11pm they did not answer the phone so couldn't get a different pillow.nEvery staff member we came across was super friendly, professional and helpful. The pool area would be great if it was bigger, but it did the trick on a hot day. Buffet breakfast was really good but sooo expensive.
