Although the rooms are a fair bit dated it was a comfortable room. The staff are friendly and very helpful with our requests. The big selling point of visiting Miss Mauds is the breakfast the next morning. The all you can eat buffet bring people in from all over the world but here you are able to stroll in for a free breakfast. The food was made to perfection and the staff were very hasty to clean down tables and keep food well stocked. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful olde world Swedish style. Even the staff dress up. Beds very comfortable and room was clean and despite overlooking the main road was very quiet. Smorgasbord breakfast was Lovely, fresh food brought out constantly and coffee kept topped up with no rush to get you in and out. Stairs are all creaky so you'll feel like you're sneaking in past your parents if you go out late at night but just adds to the charm! Would highly recommend if you're looking for a little piece of Europe in the city.

We stayed here during the first weekend of January for a birthday treat. The room package included buffet dinner and buffet breakfast - great deal. Love the charm of the hotel. Some say outdated but I think the correct term would be old world charm. It's like Sweden of yester year. The fact that there is air conditioning, large flat screen tv and a clean room and bathroom is updated enough for me! Hey, the 3 level building has a lift - bonus! Since I've given up doing cartwheels and mainly watched tennis while in the room, the size of the room was adequate for our party of two. We got a quiet room as requested but unfortunately the room next door thought nothing of slamming their bathroom and closet doors continuously between 1 to 3a.m., so earplugs or muffs are recommended. In summary: great little hotel. Nice to finally experience this Perth landmark.

Very rude manager. Very bad service. We were 6 people with three kids. He didn’t offer us high chairs for kids until we ask. Didn’t tell us anything about menu. Personally recommend people not to go this place if u like to have good time. That guy ruin my whole day.

Amazing little old school hotel. Staff were extra helpful and included an awesome breakfast.
