We had a wonderful stay at Mercure Queenstown Resort. The view is definitely the highlight – absolutely beautiful, especially in the morning and at sunset.nnThe room was clean and comfortable, and housekeeping did a great job every day. They cleaned the room regularly and always restocked the amenities, which made our stay very easy and relaxing.nnWe also enjoyed the restaurant. The food was great, and the service was excellent. Every staff member we met was friendly and welcoming.nnThe location is convenient too. It’s only about a 3-minute drive to central Queenstown, or around an 18-minute walk with beautiful scenery along the way.nnOverall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back again.
We had a wonderful stay at the Mercure in Queenstown. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with friendly staff.nThe room was clean and tidy and we appreciated that they were serviced each day. It also had spectacular views!!nThe breakfast was superb! Thank you to the wonderful staff member who welcomed us each day at breakfast and remembered our coffee orders! He is absolutely fantastic at his job.nIt was such a wonderful stay! We can’t wait to return.
We stayed at Mercure Queenstown from 27 June to 2 July in a river-facing Queen Room, and overall, it was a wonderful experience that offered great value for money.nThe room and bathroom were both spotless, clean, and well maintained throughout our stay. Daily housekeeping ensured everything remained fresh and comfortable.nA special mention to the bar staff—Adarsha, Maggie, Phon, and Margo—who were always friendly, polite, professional, and provided excellent service with a smile.nBreakfast was served in the beautiful river-facing restaurant. The buffet offered a good variety of food, including a fair selection of vegetarian options, which we appreciated.nParking was conveniently located directly in front of the hotel for $15 per day. The town centre is around a 20-minute walk, making it easy to enjoy Queenstown while staying in a quieter location.nOverall, we had a very pleasant stay. The hotel offers excellent value for money, and I would happily recommend Mercure Queenstown to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
We stayed at the Mercure for 4 nights.nnThe good: the hotel's location was excellent, away from the hustle and bustle of the CBD area, but still within walking distance. Views across the lake were also a highlight. The mattresses were very comfortable and there was adequate additional bedding. The room had both a split system and additional heating, however the insulation must have been pretty good because the room was warm enough without either turned on for extended periods. Water pressure in the shower was fantastic. Access to the sauna was also a nice perk. All hotel employees were friendly and approachable. The room was also relatively quiet with the exception of noise from the corridor.nnThe not so good: our room 223 had a strong musty odour that didn't disappear even though we had the windows open for most of the day. Some of the glassware provided wasn't clean.nnOverall, we enjoyed our stay and would happily stay at the Mercure again.
The team went above and beyond to make our stay memorable and enjoyable. The room was spacious and the views were incredible. The lounge area was well-appointed and the facilities such as the sauna, pool and spa were outstanding. Located close to town, which was nice, although it would be a decent half-hour walk if we didn't have the car. Would definately recommend.
