Aspen hotel has been a great place to stay. The view from our room is beautiful! The room is spacious and the bathroom is newly redone. The food/drinks are good at the restaurant inside of the hotel. The staff has been helpful with planning our route into town.

The hotel staff were pretty nice. I stayed at the older one across the carpark and it was rather spacious! It has almost everything you need. My friend who stayed at the newer wing (lakeview) swore by the view. The only downside for both of us was the lack of parking lots... We had to park outside at the main street in the end.

Needs money spent on it! Google says it's 40 mins walk to here from town but it's up steep hill and is more likely to take 60 minutes to walk as a car takes 10 minutes. The water pressure in the shower is about the same as when it's raining and the heat has to be all the way up to get some warmth out of it. The rooms need to be updated. The bathroom windows do not close so you get a draft and the noise of cars going by in the night. Free WiFi at the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. The fire in the bar dining area is nice and will.be good during the winter. The outside viewing seats are not suitable for anyone in wheelchair or with walking difficulties as the surface is very uneven. There is a great view here tho.

Very basic accommodation. No budging on any extra time for check out even mid week. Quite a way to town. The breakfast in their restraunt was great and since we are told to go early as it gets too busy to get in we did and got a view of sunrise.

We got a room with a view over the lake and the view was stunning. They offered us an upgrade for 50$ since it was our honeymoon (true to be said, in any other in Australia they gave us the upgrade for free as honeymooners). The food at the restaurant was ok and not crazily expensive. There's a bus that takes you into the center in less than 10 minutes, otherwise it's quite a walk downtown. The room was great, good beds, great bathroom, clean and modern.
