Friendly staff. Good parking. Average comfort of bed, one soft pillow which wasn't the best. We had one room (designed for 4) with 3 adults and a 7 month old. We had a travel cot with us and there was plenty room to set it up in the main room. Bathroom was very narrow especially where the sink is but the shower was decent enough. There was a double bed downstairs and an upper mezzanine bed. The stairs to this are steep and the ceiling is angled so therefore low. No average height adult would be able to stand up straight but it's def not suitable for children either, due to the steps. There is a bar attached to the premises that served decent food at a reasonable price with great views out over queenstown and comfortable seating to enjoy it from. They have a micro brewery started/starting (1 beer so far) Community areas were clean and tidy however it stated there was a hot tub in operation but this was not the case. There but padlocked. The free continental breakfast was good and plenty available.

Reasonable view. Strange rooms - bathroom too small to dry yourself in, upstairs bedroom 5ft high at wall and 3.5ft high at bed foot end so couldnt stand up. Courtyard area to rooms means leaving suitcase in car...only essentials to room.. good for students/backpackers not couples or families. Could vote higher but for $190 a night one would expect miles better.

Do NOT waste your money. Utterly disgusting place. We got two ensuite rooms. Bathroom light fitting in one was full of dead moths, clearly not been cleaned for sometime. The bathrooms were mouldy, and there was absolutely no hot water for a shower in either room. Room 13 had some plant machinery backing onto it, running most of the night louder than a lawn mower! Beds were very hard and uncomfortable and the room was extremely hot and stuffy with no way to ventilate it, no air conditioning or even a cheap desk fan. Definitely not as described on the website. I would highly recommend NOT staying here under any circumstance. I’ve stayed at cheaper places in Queenstown that are substantially better.

Good beds, good quality facilities. Service is good but minimal; and is a non-issue if you're only there to sleep between activities in NZ. As other reviews have mentioned, noise can be a problem but for me it was only a problem for a single night. Guess I was lucky in the timing.

Located above and outside town. Good sized basic clean and tidy rooms. Sadly no WiFi in rooms unless you pay extra. Free WiFi available in main lounge. Bar on site offering happy hour and basic food snacks.
