Hotel is in a quiet yet convenient location. It’s about 10 min walk to the Gondola and 10-15 min walk to the lake. We stayed in a family room. It’s well equipped with all kitchen utensils, even with oil, salt, and pepper for basic cooking. The kitchen comes with an electronic frying pan. We preferred to cook with a hot plate induction cooker and the staff immediately brought one to our room. Highly recommend!
Please be aware that if the motel is full you will not be guaranteed a car park space. I had no idea that there was not a car park space designated for each room. When checking in I secured the last park and the following night after working till 9.30pm, I arrived back at the hotel to find no parks left and had to partially block the exit just to be able to get to bed. This information should be given when booking or on check in. Another thing to note is that there is no air conditioning in rooms on hot days. Great location to town, great access to toiletries after hours and ice machine available was a great help on the hot days. The only thing that let my experience down was the trouble getting a car park.
Couldn’t fault this place. Fantastic location only 5 minute walk into central QT. Great quiet room with views to the gondola. Free parking was a great bonus. Also loved that you can just go to the laundry and stock up in coffee, milk, towels etc.nI’ve been to QT a few times now and when it comes to value for money this place is fantastic.
Been coming to queenstown for quite a number of years now, first with our girls but now just us. I would like to firstly congratulate the Bella Vista on making every stay we've had with them 10/10. We loved the rooms, showers, amenities, the views service and location being a short 5 min walk to town. We cannot fault them so please keep up the great work.
Excellent place to stay. Clean comfortable and friendly staff. Walking distance to the town and lakefront. Also to Skyline Gondola. Our third stop at a Bella Vista in our South Island trip. Would certainly recommend Bella Vista's. All to same high standard. Ken and Dianne - Napier.
