Kims Beachside Retreat

Great location with fabulous staff. Rooms are large and comfortable but a little too much wood so it feels a little dated. The restaurant opens at 8:30 which is too late for those on a conference. I don't think tables should be set for breakfast while guests are still having dinner. All in all a good experience and would recommend.

Wow. Was totally speechless with our whole stay. What an absolutely stunning, relaxing, intimate place to stay. Our bungalow was perfect & the food was of the highest standard. All the staff were very helpful with any needs. We will be back.

We were looking forward to a 10 days stay next month until we were informed "lunch" is no longer available at Kims dining room . What can one say? enjoying lunch and wine at mid day is a very big reason we wished to stay there. How can anyone enjoy a secluded resort( $1400 a night) stay and not be able to have lunch ?? Kims is surrounded by some of the most uninspiring restaurants on the coast unless you like a kebab or something that resembles Thai noodles . Sad times ahead for one of our favorites lets just hope they come to there senses and take there customers need into consideration . Maybe not ? maybe the end of a era

Mixed thoughts about the plc. Super Pro: so relaxing, great location. Massive cons: for a nightly price tag I expected so much more. We stayed the Fri/Sat night. The staff on the Friday we're just not 'with it', could hv bn a lot more attentive, small things like wine menu coming 20 mins after sitting down for dinner, the meals were buffet, full/dirty plates taking way too long to be removed from our table. Jacuzzi didn't go abv 25degrees, and mould on the shower tiles. Sat night was much better service wise. Breakfast was lovely and dinner was nice but nothing special- for our full stay. It was a relaxing weekend but prob could hv gotten the same elsewhere much cheaper, such a shame !

Wonderful place, the bungalows are amazing all decked out in timber giving it the feel of yesteryear, the staff are amazing very friendly and attentive, the food is excellent and the options are varied, the cocktail bar is very nice and the views are breathtaking, well worth a visit thoroughly recommend this place for a relaxing getaway
