Called and was put on hold before hanging up after 10 minutes. Called again 3 hours later and was disconnected after 5 minutes. Called a 3rd time and asked to speak to the manager and then was put on hold for another 5 minutes before answering. Pretty disgusted.

Like any JB HI FI. You gotta get the person for that dept or you're in for a struggle. It's still the best policy to grab anyone you can otherwise you could be waiting a while depending on how busy they are. They do cut staff at slow times though so it can be hit and miss. If you know what you're after you're good.

I called ahead to check if they had something in stock and the staff were very helpful. they put it aside for me at the main counter so I was able to go up and get it straight away.

Over all good service across the board. The gaming section used to have rude and lazy staff. My only issue with JB Hi-Fi which is why I no longer shop there is because of the so called "security guard" which you have to take your items to you just purchased, to get a stamp on your receipt. It's like giving a child a golden star for doing a good job. I understand if you have an unmarked bag that's logical but really a stamp? no thanks.
