What a great Movie cinema , yes it has that damp old feeling, but I did hear that the building is being demolished, I hope this is not true.If your looking for somewhere to take the children and not break the Bank.will be back.
You can hear the next theatre thru the walla but tickets are only $9 and no one checks the door anyway. Best 4 row theatre i ever did see
Great value for money and a decent candy bar to match. The building and the facilities are a bit dated but so is the price which is great. Not too far from the beach as well. Parking can be tricky so try looking in the streets behind the cinemas.
My new local cinema. The price is excellent at only $9 a ticket at any time of the day or night. You do have to pay cash though, so come prepared. The seats are comfortable though I would prefer a seat with a higher back. It's not reserved seating so come early if you like to sit in a particular place. There were no visibility issues. The only downsides are, that there was a funny smell in the cinema maybe a bit musty/damp and the screen needed a clean cinema 3. The marks on the screen were only an issue when the image was light, but most of the time, you couldn't notice it. They have a candy bar, but I didn't notice the prices as I was there early 9.30am and wasn't in need of snacks. I'll definitely be going back again and again.
Good pricing! Although once in the seating doesn't smell the best, kinda resembles wett dog and partial urine, also a tad uncomfortable after sitting down for awhile If they re renevated the toilets and replaced the seats would make it a much more enjoyable experience, stair entry no good for wheel chair accessibility.
A very affordable, nice change to the usual moviegoing experience with a personable experience. Thanks to the usher who pulled out all stops for me running late. I love to go to this cinema with my kids knowing that it’s not going to send me broke and they’re happy the get the snacks as well. A very similar experience to what seems less common in the cities nowadays as the independents were.
Last night’s show was great! Indeed the cinema was so cozy as if it was my private cinema. Four rows of seats made it even better. Air conditioning was not overly cold and just right to enjoy a movie. $9 is absolutely worth it for a movie night. Don’t forget to bring some cash - it’s CASH ONLY.
Great local cinema in Caloundra. They have what you need for a smaller theater. The seating may need an upgrade but it's fine for a couple of hours. Supporting our local businesses.
So good to have a cinema that you don't just feel ripped off every time you go. No it doesn't have reclining seats or a famous new interior. It has limited screen times but it still shows all the new releases and is half the price. Please keep providing this great alternative to the big cinemas. If it wasn't for this place my kids would never have been to see a movie on the big screen.
Great little cinema, very affordable and not too busy. Have seen issues with films there over the years but haven't in recent years. Chairs aren't the most comfy but oh well
