Not a very good experience for the first visit here. The girl serving me basically stopped midway to sell tickets while I stood waiting for my food that I’d asked for! Then went into the cinema on a stinking hot day to cool down and I don’t think they had the air cons on! Or not on high enough for sure!! It was humid and smelt like body odour: At least it looked pretty clean and the seats were comfy and big.
Staff friendly and helpful. Theatres clean and comfortable. Prices reasonable. Open lounge area neat and tidy with large screen previews of films. Great to get a look at what's on.
New updated cinemas, staff polite and friendly. Very pricey $23 for a recliner cinema as a hoyts member. Bathrooms smelly and very old. Do like the old fashioned getting served your drinks and snacks by the staff though, it makes me feel like im a human being and not just a dollar sign.
Just got in to see a movie and the seats are absolutely disgustingly filthy, nothing has been wiped down, there’s food everywhere stuffed down the sides of the seats, I can smell vomit, there’s finger and greasy hand marks everywhere. I’ve been to plenty of movie theatres in my time but this is just horrible. Definitely won’t be coming back here ever though we’re local. Bloody shame really
the experience during the movie is great, it is dark and the seats recline back. The popcorn is the best but sometimes isn't as salty as you would hope.
Great arvo at Hoyts.... Thoroughly enjoyed watching "Avatar" with the family. Comfy recliner seats, great audio/ visual quality.
Comfy recliner chairs and for the most part clean but lack attention to detail, overpriced food but friendly and relaxed staff. Avatar 2 was a good watch here
Loved the cinemas and the staff were all friendly and happy to help. The seats were incredibly comfy and the kids and I really enjoyed the movie. It wasn't frozen cold with artic aircon and the sound levels were just right to ensure other chatter from families wasn't distracting.
Pretty average cinema. Overpriced as well. $20.50 for an adult ticket to Avatar. Went to Cineplex and their adult tickets are only $9.50! Food and drink a lot cheaper at Cineplex as well.
Staff are mostly pleasant. Clean facilities...but a bit rundown. Especially the toilets...door locks busted off about a third of the cubicles! Hoyts should use some of the profits from the outrageous amount they charge for popcorn & choc tops to upgrade the toilets!
