Nice to see the big screen again and at $9.00 per ticket. Good way to spend some time out with my wife on a cinema date. Shout out to the ticket seller. Very funny and cheery. you bring a smile to people thankyou.
Nice big cinema with lots of seating you definitely get what you pay for though the cinemas are definitely dated and need a good clean and to fix the smell that is in a lot of the cinemas. They are located in the back of the food court inside Morayfield shops.
Saw great movie. 450 pm and only ten people there. Candy bar is way too expensive but we all know that. Bit of a musty smell about theatres but over all it was great.
If U want to miss half Ur movie stand in line for popcorn!!! Staff are so slow they are nearly moving backwards. I nearly fell asleep watching a girl just put the kids on the cups but in saying that the older team leader was just as slow. For the price U pay for popcorn, drinks etc U would think they would be pumping that out cause that's where the money is but instead customers are leaving the short line cause they refuse to wait so long. Pick the pace up guys
After having issues with a booking made on the wrong day and at the wrong session I frantically tried to contact Event Cinemas Customer Service via e-mail and on social media with no immediate response. After then calling all the available numbers, which went to a pre-recorded voice message I was able to get in touch with Gary at Event Cinemas Morayfield. He was extremely helpful to me in changing my booking session day and time at Chermside Event Cinemas. Sorting it out with the applicable persons. Just wanted to praise Gary for his Customer service skills and going above and beyond getting my problem fixed. Thanks Gary.
Pretty cheap tickets compared to other cinemas like North Lakes. Food is over priced of course. There isn't heaps of leg room and it can start to feel cramped after a while but it's still good enough. Seats are comfortable enough. The actual picture quality and sound is also pretty good. There's lots of seats in each cinema so if you don't like the seats you're in you can easily find a better spot.
Easy to get to venue that is directly attached to a shopping centre food court providing a broad range of foods. Entrance and kiosk is open plan with plenty of space. Quality cinema just needs a good carpet clean as some of the individual cinema rooms have a unpleasant odor
Was waiting for the film to start and a lady came in with a straw broom claiming she was here to clean, no gloves, no sanitiser, no bags, no dust pan. Was asked to leave the cinema then called back in two minutes later to see she'd only swept where the allocated seats were. Popcorn still along walkways and under chairs. On the way out spotted the same popcorn everywhere in ticket collection area two hours later. Clearly she couldn't find that pan..
What a shame to see a cinema in such a state. The carpets, chairs and walls were absolutely filthy. The chairs were all busted and frayed. The pricing seems very steep. The atmosphere is derelict. There wasn't even a board to show the movie times! I really feel for this place, it's disheartening to see a business that can't afford to maintain or update it's premises. $17 for a frozen coke and popcorn mind you... is that price for real?
This are our local cinemas. I love going to see a movie on my days off when there's not too many people. Prices are amazing for members and the facilities are always clean and tidy. Plus the staff are super friendly. Thanks guys.
