We are usually up in the Sunshine Coast every 6 months and this is the place we love to visit. The cinema always has a clean and fresh vibe. The candy bar and ticketing service is great with the friendly staff working behind the counters. The theatres are clean and like most BCC cinemas the standard seats are still comfy. One of the things we like about this cinema is that it is located at the front of the main eating food hub and situated right next to the Time Zone.
The cinemas and hallway smells really mouldy and damp. I think a deep clean is needed. The popcorn was also stale and chewy...honestly similar to what you'd get in a bag from Woolies.
It's hard to rate this place as it depends on which cinema you get - it's great near the plaza, it's big and plenty of carparks around, but there's some cinemas here that could do with a good clean up, specifically the ones that has mould in them. Overall it's a good place, and I'd rate it higher if I knew I'd always get a good cinema.
An outing with the grandsons for a family movie morning was keenly anticipated, and the movie was very entertaining, particularly after having suffered through 30 mins of adverts before the scheduled start!!nAnd the volume of the ads, and also the movie was SO LOUD, it was ridiculous. Why on earth is there no sound control. Turn it down, please...Two hours of that, sorry, too much.nCinema itself was clean and tidy and staff where very helpful. Thanks.
Was freezing cold. Hardly anyone there.. Ads of which there was 20 mins of absolute agony due to the very excessive volume.. We nearly got up and walked out it was so bad. Absolutely horrible and uneccessary Will never go back regardless of what movie is on Will tell everyone how bad it was as well .
