We are usually up in the Sunshine Coast every 6 months and this is the place we love to visit. The cinema always has a clean and fresh vibe. The candy bar and ticketing service is great with the friendly staff working behind the counters. The theatres are clean and like most BCC cinemas the standard seats are still comfy. One of the things we like about this cinema is that it is located at the front of the main eating food hub and situated right next to the Time Zone.
An outing with the grandsons for a family movie morning was keenly anticipated, and the movie was very entertaining, particularly after having suffered through 30 mins of adverts before the scheduled start!!nAnd the volume of the ads, and also the movie was SO LOUD, it was ridiculous. Why on earth is there no sound control. Turn it down, please...Two hours of that, sorry, too much.nCinema itself was clean and tidy and staff where very helpful. Thanks.
Customer service at the movies are wonderful people, I am a disability carer. The fact that the person serving us remembered my customer was lovely to see. Thank you to all staff that give us peace of mind knowing that you care for people with disabilities.
Nice enough cinema. Saw the movie we wanted at almost a time that was ideal. I don’t like though that you can get the same movies and same service at Event Cinemas for a fraction of the price.
Basic films, nothing arthouse or too interesting. Multiple small cinemas. Can find the lights on the central walkway distracting. Clean enough. Good for kids. Expensive snacks available but food and restaurants very close by in the plaza zone and a games arcade next door. There's free parking at the plaza for 3 hrs, 4 hrs if you see a film and provide your ticket.
