Bad customer service, bad car, very bad smell in the car, the car was overused and they refused to change it with another, the key was not even functioning well, too much troubles.. the worst experience ever!

Had bad experience with this Melbourne Avis compared to the best service and prices we had with Sydney airport Avis. Bad customer service, Reservation gave us a different price and when we turned up to pick up the van that's when we were told of other hidden costs and bond of $1500. Very unsatisfied customer

Avis Melbourne Airport. I really wish I could give a zero star and wish that I didn’t make my booking here. This is the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I don’t know whether the customer service team got employed by their stubbornness or the way they can offend the customers.nnUnderstand that 9pm on a Friday night is too late for a 60 year old and you might want to end up in a pub with your mate. But these are not excuses to treat your customers badly with a poker face and picky about the customer’s booking.nnSo congratulations Avis, you have ruined another customer’s holiday in Melbourne with no car that promised and we have to try our luck with other car rental services.nnI really wish that I swear to you at the time but my manners tell not to, I hope you have that manners too

BEWARE OF THIS CAR RENTAL COMPANY!nAbsolute rip off! charged me for the car rental on arrival from my bank debt card and then they charged me again from my  credit card on drop off.nnSo they have charged me twice for the car rental. The good part was, I did receive my Money two weeks later after multiple phones calls and a small re imbursement.nnThey didn't have the car i wanted, even after they told me it was available. So if you book a particular car dont expect to get that car! You pick a specific car because thats what you want, not or similar.nnAvis never gave me a contract of the car rental that i signed on the tablet via email, as they promised. So make sure you get one printed before you leave and have in your hand. Staff say they will email it, but they wont!nnCar was dusty on the inside had to wipe surfaces with baby wipes. Outside the car had bird shit on the back bumper and roof, tyres old looking no shine, windows grubby on the inside and needed cleaning. This is the job of your cleaners not the customer! Seriously!!!nnIf you are thinking of hiring from Avis check out the reviews on the same on going issues, many dissatisfied customers!nnI will not be using this service again anywhere in the world

Absolutely diabolical service here. After a 9 hour flight we had to stand in line 2 hours to pick a car up. Frustrated I tried to cancel but because of the time queueing we’d gone passed the cancellation time! They know the volume of clients to arrive at a set time and do nothing to prepare for it. Someone needs sacking. Avoid avoid avoid !
