I was amazed by the service I got from here today. The lady who serve me was just awesome, knowledgeable, caring & to the point which I like the most. I think her name is Lisa. Please keep up the good work.
Lakemba Post Office is hit 'n miss. Very much depends on who you get. Some people are cordial and helpful and others are standoffish and barely hiding their hostility. Those aloof ones seem to have lost sight of the fact that this is a customer service role and they're supposed to be polite and helpful, not make the customer's life hell. Unfortunately, I feel like there's more of these types of unpleasant people serving customers of late and I'm assuming they're casuals who work at other branches too so maybe they feel they don't have to be polite and helpful because they don't see the same customers all the time. it's getting to the point now where unless i'm collecting directly from a parcel locker where i don't have to interact with anyone, i choose to go to auspost branches in other suburbs where the counter staff are nicer and more willing to assist.
Posties constantly fail to contact me although I'm at home and am forced to travel to the post office to pick up parcels. Pumped up to 4 stars as postie delivered.
work full time take a day off go to collect a parcel and theres a black out which is fine however the staff came out laughing while we are sitting there in the rain saying they don't no whats going on unprofessionally they then tell us they will hold our parcels until we could get back in took no ones details and went into a near by cafe to relax.... and guess what sent our parcels back well mine anyway, disgusting service not to mention the hour and half we were our there waiting no one addressed us they had an A4 sign posted among about 20 others on a sliding door if I was Australia post I would shut this place down they are doing your image no good. and I totally agree with the comments below in relation to the staff being rude and disrespectful this shop has got to go I would rather travel to a different suburb out of my area to collect parcels then deal with these people if there was a way to give a minus star review believe me I would have
They have a 24 hour collection machine that’s not even accessible after there closing time, why would they have it inside and advertised it as 24hour available pickup? Dumb and deceiving , either get the machine moved outside so it’s actually accessible after hours or don’t fkn advertise online that u have 24 hour parcel collection service.
So unprofessional , doesnt know anything just a smile on your face wont work. we want a right information when delivering something so important. I sent some important documents overseas. i went to this guy at the counter . he said yes this envelop is good and will delivered in 10 to 15 days. Later when i rang the post office ,they said i am sorry you went for the 25 to 30 days post. How am i suppose to know. the guy at lakemba post office helped me with envelops. please go to campise but not in lakemba
incompetent, untrained staff members at this shop. They do not understand auspost own policy and procedure. Advised me wrong info when I wanted to pick up a parcel. hopeless.
Very rude unhelpful no professionalism. Worst service possible
The parcel locker says its available 24/7 however it's behind a locked door. There's no way to unlock the door. I don't understand why it would sat 24/7 when it's only available during the opening and closing hours of the post office. Incredibly inconvenient and dishonest.
I love going there sometimes and lots of them are nice. But some are not. But they sell great stuff.
