I will never come again to this LPO. The Chinese lady with short hair she is so unhelpful. I want to deposit $6000 in two transactions. She refused to help me, just asked me to deposit $3000 only, the rest $3000 she asked me to go to other LPO or bank. But the point is my card daily limit deposit is $10k. She didn't want to help me, and I have to go to another 8 minutes walking LPO... I appreciate who is friendly and helpful but not that lady!
Staff are always helpful and patient and work with me to get the cheapest, fastest way to mail my stuff. When couriers can't be bothered to deliver my parcels to me sigh Redfern LPO is a reliable pick up place, but only open weekdays, unlike strawberry Hills which is open Saturday morning where most of my lazy courier parcels bounce to. ‍.
The Asian guy behind the counter was simply rude. Made issue of my parcel when postage was already paid as my parcel was over by 5g and said he can't accept. Then once I changed it he asked me to change to cubic measurements if over 500g. I explained it to him that eBay doesn't have that option but he kept on fussy about it. Spoilt my day and now I'll stop sending with Australia post. Great support for small business.
I received an email saying my package was delivered to Strawberry Hills post office, but when I went there, the lady at counter told me my package should be at Redfern LPO instead. I don't know which one is the one to blame, so I'm disliking both
It is a small office close to Redfern St. I visited out of pick hours, professional staff, and helpful.
Completely useless. Theres no service, no help, no information. All they say is: I can't tell you anything! Sent a parcel overseas. Still stuck at the airport cleared for custom, not handed to carrier, 5km from post office. And they refuse to answer any question as to why it is sitting there for 20 days without moving. On the phone, they only take medical emergency calls. Redirect to App otherwise, where they ask you to fill endless forms with stupid questions, when all they need is the tracking number and, to add insult to injury, they ask you to fill a questionnaire to say how you enjoy the service or rather lack of it. What a joke! There's only 2 phone number to call. Both answered by computers, who just ask you the same stupid question but can't find anything about delivery. It's a waste of time and insulting to customers.
Asked me to go to another post office because they didn't want to deal with my issue
There was a very impolite female staff. She looks to be an Asian with long hair dyed in brown. She tried to imply that I was cutting the queue. I rebutted her accusation, and she just said OK. She never realized how impolite and disrespectful she was. It was another customer who had to take passport photo which made the queue flow unclear. I can understand because of the limited space of the shop, but she should be talking in a nice way. It is not the first time I saw her being so impolite. I wanted to give benefit of the doubt first time but now I must speak it out. She had no excuse for his horrific attitude.
Tried to take a photo there for my passport last week. Turned out the digital copy got rejected by the embassy didn’t meet the requirements! Never gonna go back again. The lady there didn’t even care if I stood straight and spent only half a second taking the photo and didn’t even get a chance for me to select a better one or just to take a glimpse of the photo
As a Redfern resident I am often at this Post Office. The staff are unfailingly polite and patient with often cranky customers. They often help me work out the most efficient way to send my parcels.
