Went in to collect two parcels. Was only given one and was told there were no other parcels for me by the most horrible woman, who literally argued with me over tracking numbers which she got wrong. Went back in a few minutes later and showed them the information again and a different staff member immediately brought out my other package.
This Post Office has to be a social experiment, that is the only explanation I have for the ordeal I suffered at this laboratory of letters, it’s almost like the humans working there are programmed to be annoyed that you actually decided to come in and collect something, like by god I dare bother you with a tracking number to collect my fresh beds sheets. that I was looking forward too, how do you make someone feel guilty about having the ambition of sleeping of some nice fresh sheets. Keen to see how long this experiment lasts.
I regularly use Auspost for business parcels, every time I drop parcels I get rude unhelpful staff.nBeing told to go and re pack a parcel for it being overweight by 200 grams when we are always charged fees for minor weight issues is excessive.nConsidering the amount of branches aus post has one would assume some sort of helpful customer service.
The manager is insane and will not let you pick up parcels. She has asked me to bring my passport, signed forms and change the address on my license. Every time she will ask me to bring something different. Now I just use my work address so it goes to a different post office. Every time I go to the post office she is having an argument with someone.
Nice and helpful staff. I wanted to get some information about leasing a PO box. The staff was very kind and answered every question I had. They even tried to come up with alternative options to help me with my problem.
