Decent food but rather expensive. Not sure what societies obsession with brioche is either haha. Fish was great, enjoyed the burger despite the bun, but that is totally a personal preference and completely subjective.Food: 4/5
We have never been here before, but we ordered tonight for delivery. The food arrived on schedule and was very nice. Our family ordered the meat platter, steak & eggs, nachos, and chicken nuggets & chips. My son did complain that the chips in his nachos were a bit soggy, but that would be due to having it delivered. We really enjoyed the meat platter, which says it is suitable for 3-5 people. We think it would definitely be closer to 3 people unless you had other things to eat or were small/light eaters. The ribs were voted the best item in the platter. Chicken nuggets & chips were pretty standard, and the steak & eggs were delicious. We were watching Kitchen Nightmares while eating our dinner, so we were potentially more likely to be critical of what we were eating - but it was delicious, and we were very pleased with it.
Great parking space. Lovely hosts. Great food and drinks. The portion sizes were huggeee, even for a dessert. Loved it!Food: 5/5
Came here on Tuesday Rib night. Staff was accommodating and gave us a well lit spot! We got the ribs of course, Margherita pizza, mussel pot, special beef curry and kids nuggets and pizza. Servings were generous and the fries were a highlight at the table! Coconut curry sauce for the mussels was a bit bland. Overall a great place to come for a family din! Thank you!
We ate at The Albany for Mother's Day dinner and the evening felt like a comedy of errors. One of our five-person party was allergic to onions and chose the venue for its online menu and the large number of options it offered her. She made the booking online, and only when we got there did we discover that they had a significantly restricted menu and only one of the options that evening could be made onion-free. At least that made her decision for what to eat easy. The restaurant didn't look super busy, but we then proceeded to wait for around 40 minutes for the first two dishes to be brought out, and then the next two came maybe 5 minutes after that. When the final dish mine still hadn't arrived after around another 20 minutes, my husband went to check on what had happened, and was told they'd lost the order and had to make it fresh, but that it would only be 2-3 more minutes. We had been planning to order dessert, but when - 15 or so minutes after I finished - we'd tried and failed to make eye contact several times with the staff who were standing around at the bar chatting and our plates were still uncleared from the table, we gave up and walked over to the bar to pay. One of our party members clearly laid out the issues we'd had, and the staff member at the till looked embarrassed and may have muttered an apology, but rang up our order in full. It wasn't until we asked to speak to a manager to have the bill adjusted to reflect the poor service that we'd experienced that they deducted the cost of my meal from the total bill. The food itself was OK, but the service really let it down, and we now know not to go back there.
Was really looking forward to going out with my family for Mother’s Day. The menu was restricted with not a lot of options. We were asked how we would like our steak cooked, medium to well for one person and medium for the other. Well they both came out well undercooked. The prawns were rubbery and the dinner in general lacked flavour. We were the only ones in there as it was early so this was a careless mistake. We were not charged for one dinner as it was pretty obvious about the stuff up. Overall pretty disappointing.
Absolutely delightful and friendly staff : I had a great experience dining outdoors with my son! The serene ambiance added to the enjoyment of the meal. I would definitely stop here again for a bite and to visit the cat that was hanging around outside : Thanks for a peaceful and delicious meal! :Service: 5/5
Great service and food was good. Prefer my burger on a plate than board and to be given the choice of sauce. But generous and staff attentive. Music a bit loud for dining but only 2 of us there. Vegetarian options: Very limited but I'm sure the kitchen could accommodate your needs
Great place for Friday night catch up after work. A good selection of food and drinks. I must recommend the meat platters. Perfect for the cave man and great peered with any drink.Food: 5/5
The food is very tasty! I enjoyed everything I ordered, and the staff were friendly It did feel a bit overpriced though. I had the babe sliders, stuffed chicken and mud cake, the order total was $70.60.
