The Fox is the iconic Sports Bar, pub and restaurant that is situated in the heart of Auckland’s beautiful Viaduct Harbour. Our long standing reputation as the best place to watch sport is well deserved.
All the major international and New Zealand sports are represented and we are happy to screen sports on request.
Our team is friendly and hospitable and we know you will have a good time with us!
However, sport is not the only thing we do well. The Fox provides a warm welcoming pub atmosphere, excellent food and wine and a great selection of beers including New Zealand craft beers. A tasting tray of NZ beers is available for visitors to NZ.
We have our very own microbrewery where you can brew your own beer to your exact taste and then come and drink it with your mates!
We have a great chef and our menu showcases New Zealand ingredients, including delicious fresh fish daily, as well as the more traditional pub fare. Our menu covers all tastes and our kitchen is open until 10pm every day.
We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner and have an all day snack menu.
We are open 7 days a week from 9 am, we open early & stay open late for special games.
We have the capacity to host large groups up to 300 for Private Functions, or small groups of 5 for drinks and nibbles. We host corporate get togethers and also Sport and Social Club events. We can seat up to 30 for lunch/dinner at one table.

If there's a game you want to watch and you think the hour is crazy ... give us a call or email - we're probably already here open for it! We can reserve an area for you but for big games you need to be here early to preserve your spot!
We also have a pool table, darts, 12 big screens, 11 beers on tap, and a private gaming room.
