Wonderful environment and location. The staff and bartenders were really friendly. The beer is great too! The rooms are spacious enough, with the beds being really cozy. Overall a great place to stay.

The bar downstairs was bright and quite clean, nice beer, reasonable prices. Seating was okay, television was showing cricket. There was also rather loud and unrelated background music playing through loudspeakers. Menu looked okay, but we did not eat on this occasion as it was only mid afternoon and we had already lunched.There were rather too many flies buzzing around for my liking. Toilets were just about acceptable, but toilet walls and woodwork could be cleaner, especially in respect of the cobwebs (or perhaps they are a feature). In sum: an okay place in a rather nice building. I intend to visit the upstairs restaurant, one day in the not too distant future.

Food had potential and was cheap! Order was however screwed up and took 50minutes. Steak came out pretty blue to be honest, asked for medium rare. I imagine in the rush to get the order out it was just rushed. I'm pretty sure I just caught the crew on a bad day as it wasn't busy I would give it another go, I imagine your experience would be better.

Good hotel stay for the price. Great location. It is a bit loud with the windows open at night. The bed is comfortable and the room was pretty clean.
