Love this place. Great example of typical Irish pub. Good guiness, good pub food and good fun.

This old, authentic Irish pub is a great place to have a Guinness on tap, far superior to bottled Guinness. We didn't try the food, but it looks like a great place to try one of those big Irish Breakfasts.

I have been going to Father Teds on and off over the past 30 years. The state of the toilets is shocking, unclean, both toilets broken, nothing to dry your hands with. Secondly, the choice of beer is so limited to only insipid mainstream drops. A craft beer or two (no, not Monteiths) like Panhead, Moa or Garage Project wouldn't go a miss. I love this place, but I feel a little let down by its current management. Cheapest pool in town, if you can get the table. Still good for the Guinness.

Basic as far as pubs go but it was near our accommodation. Filled a void. Might be good with a band.
