Located at the heart of the America’s Cup Village in the Auckland Viaduct Basin, Danny Doolan’s is the quintessential Irish Bar.

Danny Doolans serves an excellent array of fine fresh food for lunch and dinner including our Steakhouse Selection which is not to be missed. With Live Music 7 nights a week from 8pm, provided by our in-house musicians, pumping until the wee hours of the morning, it truly is the place to be for good times and a great atmosphere.

Bloody good Irish bar. The front is quite small but the inside is surprisingly large. The live band each night are good and take requests and have a laugh with the crowd. The staff do their best and the food ain't too bad for pub grub. Give it a shot
What a night to unwind and enjoy with friends spent in this happy place. Love their cocktails s well as their live band with good choices of songs. We enjoyed the dance floor. Staff are all over the place to make sure peace and order is maintained. Will surely see you again.
It was our staff break up night out. It wasn't organized well as we were all stuffed in the corner. Was told that our function would be set up but it wasn't. Overall food and music was great and made up for our squashed corner..."nobody puts bb in the corner" Parking: Princess wharf
We always love the food at Doolan's restaurant and bar. The environment was pleasant and not too crowded when we visited on a Saturday evening for a dinner and drinks. It's similar with the other Doolan brother's branch, but just missing coleslaw with their steak meal and also no $20 steak deals at this Danny Doolan's that the other branch have.
As an irish women i was really disappointed with the Guinness . Dont know if the staff are aware how to pour a good guinness taste was also very bad , im thinking the keg may have been sitting with the guinness we got for a while . Always pour away the first pint of the day but i think we were given the first pour . The pub itself seems cute and really authentic
First time customer! The Sunday roast with a pint for $25 is great value. The meal was fantastic and large, but sadly only 1 roast potato! Suggest less mash and more roasties. Service was first class.
Great staff specially Niall who was really nice. Food was cheap yet absolutely nice. We managed to have the Friday 50c wings and 20 dollar pint beer offer. Awesome band as well. Amazing night to spent in Viaduct. Highly recommended. Cheers!
There was no chicken event starting at 5 o'clock. The woman with red hair and eyebrow piercing was very unkind. In the evening, while my friend and I were drinking beer, the staff showed up and left a paper saying that another customer would be booked at 7:30 p.m. I had to hurry up and eat because the staff seemed to want me to leave quickly without ordering any more.
Enjoyed our meal and the place in general. The live band was good once the singer's voice warmed up. Staff were excellent.
This place is ridiculous. Went in for a drink and were just standing at a table after buying our drinks. It wasn't overly busy and my special needs friend was dancing when the manager walks up to us and tells us to leave and threatens to call the police. Update: I'm sure the "manager" does have a different view now. But to be clear, there were very few people in the bar, we weren't approached until AFTER we had brought drinks, one friend was sitting at the table, I was standing at the table, and one friend was dancing on the empty dance floor, when we were asked to leave and threatened with a call to the police. The manager then PRETENDED to call the police and while I listened in to this call, he hung up. He did this twice, pretending to call and then hanging up when I listened into the "conversation". We left and went to two other bars WITHOUT incident. Seems Danny Doolans doesn't like SN dancers.
