Located in the centre of Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour, O’Hagans Irish bar is a prime example of a traditional Irish pub.
Overflowing with original Irish charm the décor is warm and authentic, but O’Hagans has so much more to offer.

Bouncers losing this place a lot of money, they creep about like assassins tapping random people on the shoulder and walking them out. I had 2 beers, was coming down from toilet and he appeared from the darkness, come with me you've had too much to drink. I seen this happen three times in the 1/2 hour I was there to people who were clearly not drunk. I know it must be hard raising 9 kids on minimum wage but don't take your bad life decisions out on us. And other than that it's a average bar on a good day, go to HQ round the corner way better.

A typical Irish style pub. My burger was very nice. Good kiwi music.

Bouncers turned away my bachelorette party...implying that my sober driver was drunk. Told us to come back in 20 mins but let the drunk man behind us in. Really disappointing way to kill a night for a girl that loves all things Irish. Wont be back.

Great local pub that looks after regular customers. Prices are reasonable and location is great. The music is often repeated and repeated. I hear the same songs every time I go - maybe a playlist refresh is in order? Toilets are a bit iffy but overall a good experience.
